How does this bloke get a job with the BBC. He has to be the laziest man on town. Analysis of Newcastle goal had Scharner as “the right back” and the opportunity near end had Boyce as ” the defender”. Does he actually know any of the Latics players ? He offers no insights and isn’t slightly funny. And he’s being paid by taxpayers. Shocker !

Was it just me or did I hear him say (or words similar)regarding Callum McManaman’s tackle:-

“He must have meant it as he nearly broke his leg”

Now If I were Wigan Athletic I would be contacting the BBC to make a complaint. He’s basically saying the tackle was made with the intention to harm the lad.

My view is, his tackle was over exuberant and was keen to impress with it been his first start and was a bad one but i doubt he meant it.
I don’t know many footballers who go out with the sole intention to hurt another player.

I should have said “i don’t know many” what I’m trying to say is, it’s very very rare that a player goes solely in to injure another player.A player might be reckless or in the heat of the moment, hard but I can’t see many tackling with the soul intention to injure the other guy.

The band wagon boys are out , don’t be surprised if Callum’s strapped to the duggy bridge before Sat’s game and given 20 lashes.
