£30-00 is reet. Just done to cash in on away support. Either get a season ticket, watch on box, tune in on radio, check your phone apps but don’t pay it.

If we lose 53 pay on the day tightarses it will be more than made up 100 fold with 5000+ Leeds fans.
Quids in, and £150,000 for being on TV.
Makes perfect sense to me and it will only cost £13 for us season ticket holders.

You can’t keep relying on good away .support……surely we got potential to at last try go get a nearly full house with some really cheap tickets for wiganers.not all fans can fork out season tickets for their family.two adults two kids tickets .for a match not much change out of a £100.i do feel for folk with other commitments. Such as work.

I just get frustrated by hearing the same drivel everytime a matchday price is advertised. Too much time has been wasted on this pointless topic already. It is what it is, and it costs what it costs.
If fans have been frightened off by the match day prices so far this season and have been picking and choosing their matches, then with the money they have saved so far, they can easily afford the Leeds match, so there’s no reason for them not to go.
£30 is a lot of money to find for a match, but no home fan needs to pay anywhere near that amount, and few do.
Anyone who hasn’t been this season will have saved £28, £25 & £25 including tomorrows match, so if they go against Leeds and pay £30 they will still be £48 in pocket.
Alternatively they could have got a season ticket and seen all 3 matches + the Leeds match for the grand total of £52.

Thing is now the actual gate doesn’t matter it’s just about £££s.
FFS the club will make more money on the day against Leeds from the Leeds fans than from the entire Latics support. 8500 at £13 not counting the reduced price kids tickets is a lot less than 5000 at £30.
It’s the way forward, fill the stands with away supporters who are prepared to pay. East stand needs sectioning so we can get more of them in.

Wafc are right to charge these Yorkshire robbing gits as much as they can as the price they charge away fans at their place is extortionate. £40 would be better..
Let’s face it at £10 we’d be lucky to get another 1k on the gate so can’t see what you’re complaining about.

Agree with you Jim. Empty home seats is the way to go. Just wait to hear the whinging if Season cards worked out at a mere £25-00 a game. Could just open the West Stand for home fans then.

We’ll see if your theory works against Bristol City donny. Personally I don’t think it will.

So charge as much as we can for the clubs who bring big followings, especially Leeds.

Bottom line is:- if it were free entry, for Wiganers, with a pie and pint thrown in; they still wouldn’t turn up in vast numbers. Good job us out of towners turn up every game
