What with their recent turnaround in form and our poor away record I can’t see us getting anything tonight! Going to go for a Leeds win 2-0 :(
18 October 2016 at 3:15 pm #151556I don’t see us troubling the scoresheet and like you fil I’m going 2-0 to dirty Leeds.
Hope I’m way off the mark.
18 October 2016 at 4:44 pm #151557I predict our fans getting ripped off…. but go home with something to cheer about
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
18 October 2016 at 5:16 pm #151559I can’t see us getting much tonight. Leeds are poor away from home but have won their last 3 home games. Monk seems to be turning it round over there.
All close wins for Leeds and I think tonight will be, but 2 – 1 Leeds me thinks.
18 October 2016 at 5:55 pm #151560Leeds 0-2 Wigan. Now that our defence is playing better I can see us scoring twice on the counter attack(Grigg and Wildschutt) and their crowd giving the home side grief after the first 20 mins.
Ever the optimist B)18 October 2016 at 7:11 pm #1515611 -0 or 2 – 1 to us
18 October 2016 at 8:00 pm #151567Frustrate the life out of them early, grow into it and dominate. 1-0 win.
18 October 2016 at 9:18 pm #151570I’ll go with you egg. We could frustrate the hell out of any team but a piece of brilliance from Grigg or Jordi or even Perks first goal could win it for us. Yip 1 Bart to The Tics.
18 October 2016 at 10:58 pm #151574draw 0-0 :woohoo:
19 October 2016 at 5:35 pm #151579Watching the game last night has reafirmed that Powell, Power and Bogdan are the weakest links at the moment. I am not overly sure whether Bogdan could have done anything for the goal, but as he just watched it instaad of making some effort, we will never know. They got the luck on teh line when the Leeds 24 was tackled ony for it to bounce back off his shins on to McDonalds head and into clear space for the same Leeds player to cross. Latics should and could have done beeter defencively. Power seemed intent on falling over a lot, power just can’t get into games at mo and Bogdan, well I think the only person who believes he is a half decent goalkeeper is the gaffer.
19 October 2016 at 8:39 pm #151580But we did do what Egg predicted and frustrated the life out of them to get the well earned draw which Gary went for. We will have to get used to this. It is not going to be pretty only pretty boring but it will bring more draws like this and we should snatch the odd win too to stay up.
20 October 2016 at 12:42 am #151582I think we were very unlucky not to win it, I don’t think Leeds had anything to scare us and only scored via a huge slice of luck as LL stated… apart from the cost of the ticket… the equaliser reminded me of Chesterfield last season (though we won)

From where I was sat in my £35 ticket seat, we gave more than we got. Jacobs hit the post, we had two cleared off the line, Grigg fluffed an header that just needed glancing in and there were many other good situations going forward. However, don’t let me give you a biased view of the game I didn’t have the advantage of listening to WISH FM or watching the scores come up on SSN.

It sounds from that brief report Jrfatfan that we actually played well and were more positive than usual. Hopefully from what you have said Gary may have realised it is better to try to beat teams than bore them into submission.
20 October 2016 at 1:55 am #151586It appears like Leeds fans think THEY need to attack more and the majority of them thought Green was their MOTM, look to the poll on the right hand side.

Can you believe it a goalie voted second MOTM against a team set up to be negative and defend.
A Leeds legend thought that we looked like the home team
