It seems they are well upto speed on how Latics should be run, that’s just one of umpteen Latics related threads, remember mind, they don’t care. A pitty most have plucked figures out of the air and have so little understanding of the club, but why let that stop them.

Then again it’s difficult to change perceptions when the national press carry out hatchet jobs on Latics week in, week, yet give Mick Hogan free reign to put out what is effectively a press release with very carefully selected figures.

Still, if it keeps the faithful content, it’s job done. You can’t blame the club for making the most of these and other marketing opportunities. Meanwhile, Latics sit back, waiting for the inevitable negative press from the Stoke and Bolton games, after once again failing to sell tickets to anyone but the diehard faithful.

It makes you wonder if Latics actually put anymore than a token effort into increasing attendances due to so much money coming from TV.

A Wigan RL fan already does run the Latics.

The one and only Maurice Lindsay. ;)

I’d let the marketing staff have a right go at sorting the football out though.

FFS, I thought that thread would drop to the depths, it’s now six pages and counting!

It’s like an open therapy session, there’s more interest in Latics than their opening fixture.

Comment of the thread must go to:

‘Football has always and will always attract some of the thickest people you are likely to meet’

It’s a global sport man. Of course it will attract some of the thickest people. It will also attract some of the brightest people, some of the poorest people, some of the richest people, some of the tallest people, some of the smallest people etc.

Funny RL should pop up.

I was looking for something in Widnes on Youtube yesterday, and I stumbled upon this. Footage of Widnes Saints RL team, and some of the blatant thuggery on display. Certainly, if I was one of the victims on this film, I’d be sending a copy to a solicitor, with the intention of ‘Barbados at Christmas’,

Pay special attention to the giant no 6 (in black) at the end. Shi*bag he is.

To be more accurate, Latics popped up, numerous times.
