Incentive to stay up ; bonus to send them down. We do owe them one afterall, after Brian Deane and his last min winner leading to Pardew doing some type of jig in front of the latics fans. That to one side however, Id like to go into the Stoke game on the back of 3 points and good chance of survival.

and as i remember pardew paid us a complement by saying “he was glad his team had stopped us qualifying because we were probably the best team in the top six and biggest threat to them winning the playoffs”
I’m sure we lost that game 1-2 after Jason Roberts opened the scoring for us and then they put on Marlon Harewood in the second half up against the smallest center half in the history of the club cant remember his name though
