Still serious work to do .Newcastle will be huge as they are buzzing and we certainly know the other relegation candidates won’t just curl up and go as the Qpr result proves.How big could the Rovers game potentially be ? Question…..In our most recent fixtures we have been unable to show any winning consistency against the “lesser ” Prem teams ie Swansea,villa,W Brom,norwich,Fulham,yet pull 3 staggering wins out against Liverpool,Man Utd ,Arsenal.I cant figure us out, but our destiny is in our hands so I’ll take that anytime.
Next week is my worry. I think we can get the points we need out the last 2. I dont want it to go to the last day again.
I don’t want it to go to the Rovers game !!I wonder if the press will quote Qpr as winning against a” poor” Spurs team or a fantastic effort and managerial masterclass by Hughes ?
I don’t care what anyone says about Spurs, they definitely started to falter big time as soon as the England media frenzy began re Twitcher !! I cannot understand those who say that is nothing to do with it ??
Bolton entertain them and they have to play hosts to Blackburn !! This scenario once over would have given me a nice warm feeling inside but now I fear that our relegation rivals will come up trumps respectively !!

Even if we win next week we would need Blackburn to lose at Spurs, Bolton to lose to both Villa and Sunderland for 6 points to be enough and if we then lost our last 2 we could still finish below Blackburn.
We’re going to need at least a point there (which I think we’ll get)
Spurs are the worry they have Rovers and Bolton to play but they are shoite at the min and could give them both points which could be a real problem for us.We will need to beat Wolves to stay up I fear but im hoping to be wrong.Harry for England anyone? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Listen, if we go down it will be because we have not played well enough throughout the season on the whole. That is the whole ethos of the league system ! I am not attempting to take the shine off our recent good run but we are down there still fighting because on the whole we have underachieved ( The league does not tell tales ! ) If the team can stay focussed and put yesterdays blip to the back of their minds then there is no reason why we shouldn’t stay up.The jury is still out re RM with me but I have warmed to him for changing his stance a little. He is still a one trick pony re tv interviews but you simply cant hate the guy due to his amiable nature ! I want to see this good run continue into next season because if you hadn’t forgot already we finished last season on a high and then it all went tits up again !! If this improved form continues into next season then RM will get my full backing but until then the jury have gone to Wetherspoons for a long lunch with liquid refreshments !!
Jrfatfan can single me out all you want ,beating Arsenal.Liverpool etc still means sod all if we drop.As Filmoss states its a 38 game league ,obviously your league is based on 6 games so we must be top then .Try some electroconvulsive therapy I hear it works wonders for people with 32 game memory loss :P
The difference between the L/S and D/S is there to be read. We state things like “if we stay up”,
Where as the D/S are only too keen to say “this clown will be playing in the championship next season” etc.
We are far from safe at the moment but I’m wallowing in the fact that Bobby and his team are playing really well. Yes it has took a while but nevertheless he’s got there.
I see LMB was quick to jump in with the comment “Fulham are a better team than Liverpool at the moment”. Why not go the whole hog and say “Latics are a better team than Liverpool at the moment” as well. B)

I was replying to what brownbill said by saying the reason we lost yesterday was perhaps because we were up against a PRETTY GOOD SIDE, when he had asked how we beat good teams and couldnt beat a “lesser” one, I dont think we are a better team than liverpool but I also dont think we are worse than any most of the others.
I have been nothing only positive about the way we have played for quite a while and regularly expressed this view on other sites, the reason I havent on here is 2 fold – the first being until the week after easter my internet provider blocked my access to some sites including this one(apparently an adult content filter kicks in if you change service provider at the moment,a goverment demand, and you have to ask for it to be removed , they don’t automatically do it, and for some reason CL was included in this adult content), the second one is I just can’t be bothered with the shit anymore.
