Stupid, no-mark, pi$$sed up slapper.
What the f*** was she skriking about?
And Hugh Grant, turning round to accept his glass of beer ftom a waiter off a tray. Mind you, at least he’s watched them for years.
13 May 2010 at 11:45 am #33251I thought you couldn’t drink when watching a football match, is that law different in Germany ?
13 May 2010 at 2:11 pm #33261I thought you couldn’t drink when watching a football match, is that law different in Germany ?I am actually not intending to post much, but from personal experience of the Bundesliga……
Yes, it is. You can drink in your seat.
I’ve been to a few Hertha BSC games, and they even have a load of stalls set up outside selling great beer (Not watered down crap like here), bratwurst sausages (several types), and bouletten, which are German style burgers. No heavy handed Policing or Stewarding looking over your shoulder. Actually, it’s great. Hertha even have a deal with the local transport where your transport on the S-Bahn (Train) from the centre, is included in your match ticket.
Definitely more fan friendly, over there. I’d reccomend it. On the downside, Hertha have just been relegated. They are like the ‘Man City’ of Germany, big club, having won nothing for years. Average 40,000 home gates (Olympiastadion holds 74,000) unless it’s Bayern or Dortmund, when it’s packed. Think they’ve gone downhill because of constantly selling players…….hmmmm……sounds familiar. Mad how they will be in the 2nd tier next season.
13 May 2010 at 6:18 pm #33298Lily allen is fit for a fat bird! I would ANYDAY!
13 May 2010 at 6:31 pm #33300Lily Allen “Fat”?
I’d love to know what your idea of a fit ‘thin’ bird is…….
(Taken from an Ethiopian fashion show……seriously!)
13 May 2010 at 6:39 pm #33302Best thing for me about Bundesliga matches is the relationship between the players and fans. If a team wins, the players will stay behind after the game and celebrate on the pitch in front of the fans.
There’s always someone with a megaphone n all and usually the club captain will start chanting all sorts and gets the fans proper jumping. Can’t imagine Mario doin the same for us.
The only downside is that there was a match last week in which a team got send down and then their fans started ripping up seats and thowing them in the direction of players etc.(I live over here, I dont just watch random Bundesliga matches) One fella actually took one on the head – nowt bad happened to the fella – and another fan took a swing at one of the player’s who’d just been relegated. I suppose it can get a bit dodgy with such relaxed policing and stewarding.

Never said it wasn’t. I was implying that a country that wanders about, tackle out, would probably have a relaxed attitude to policing and stewarding

She (Lily Allen) certainly isn’t thin!
That said my mates always do say, when I am asking them if such a girl they are talking about is fit etc, that they are ok, average sized but probably too fat for me.
Love em thin! :D
that ‘Ethiopian’ bird looks about normal. Not skinny.

Well, I was mistaken for a woman once :(
14 May 2010 at 1:42 am #33367Were you in Duisberg?
Anyway, it’s the Finns who wander around in saunas wi’ nowt on.
14 May 2010 at 2:03 am #33368I was in a sauna in Majorca a couple of years ago, and a couple of sorts from Germany came into the sauna fully in the buff.
Both were in their mid-late 30’s, and in all honesty, I DID attempt not to look…….honestly. ;)
I’m glad I had my shorts on…….as it could’ve been awkward. :o
Regarding Berlin, considering they supposedly lost the war, they’ve done a pretty brilliant job at rebuilding the place. Even so, when you go in to the centre on the train from Schonefeld Airport, you can still see some war damage, bullet and shrapnel holes, on old buildings near the centre. A lot of patching up has been done, as well. In fact, there are bullet marks at the Olympiastadion, at the end where the Olympic Torch gate, is at. There is a plaque from the 1936 Olympics, with all the medal winners on it, including Jesse Owen, and the marks are around that.
