I think we have to look at Lincoln for inspiration this season.

Looking at how they went into the 25/26 season, with boardroom upheaval and changes around their club, they then went on to eventually cement a solid place at the top of the table, and ended up as Champions. They had a hard-working and well-driven squad. If we shape ourselves, there is no reason why we cannot emulate them this season.

Lincoln started off last season with a home win, followed by an away defeat. So with us losing away last week, if we can get a win on Saturday, we’ve had an equal start to what they had.

Their average crowd as well was 9000 and odd. Proving once again, its about what you do on the pitch, not how many fans you have.

We should definitely look at them as a yardstick…

I remember back in 86/87 and 87/88 seasons. Bobby Campbell getting pelters and dogs abuse. “Campbells meatballs!” Shouted at him.

He was leading scorer the two seasons he was here. 🤦‍♂️

We have always had gobshites who pick a player as a scapegoat. Paul Rogers, for example. Won us a cup at Wembley. 🤦‍♂️

Already this season, one game in, and it seems Barrett and Costelloe are neck and neck for this seasons scapegoat. Moany arsed fuckwits.
