In the Springfield area where i live we have asylum seekers/refugees posting labour leaflets/vote for Nandy through letterboxes.
I have emailed Nandy dozens of times concerning issues in the area and not had one reply, so have others.
I have just thrown the leaflet back at some Asian guy, make of this what you will.
Fuck the EFL
3 June 2017 at 6:25 pm #159533Out of my team of 11 at work, 5 are Asian. All were born in the UK. Strange as it may seem, not all Asians in Wigan are asylum seekers or refugees. The bloke that owned the off licence on Woodhouse Lane for many years wasn’t.
Maybe Ms Nandy doesn’t reply to your dozens of e-mails because she finds your tone offensive, especially if you are implying that every non-white face is an asylum seeker or refugee.
3 June 2017 at 6:36 pm #159535None of these people posting Nandy/Labour leaflets were born here, they live in HMO’s across the area provided by Serco
People like these vote and back people like Nandy because she will make sure they stay on the gravy train, my emails to Nandy were not about refugees/AS they were rubbish removal/fly tipping and all were wrote politely.
Fuck the EFL
3 June 2017 at 6:45 pm #159536I doubt it as only British Citizens can vote. Refugees & Asylum seekers are not British Citizens unless they naturalise, which takes over 5 years and costs a lot of money.
Perhaps they are not refugees or asylum seekers and just happen to be British Asians who support Lisa Nandy and are prepared to get out and canvass for her.
Again, you are labelling someone because of the colour of their skin.
3 June 2017 at 6:52 pm #159537What i’m writing is fact, stop throwing accusations around.
I can back up everything ive said up to now, you cant.
You really have no idea on this one!
Fuck the EFL
3 June 2017 at 7:38 pm #159539Really?
I didn’t realise Asylum seekers & refugees in Wigan were forced to wear a specific dress code that identifies them as such, nor was I aware that the accommodation they occupy is specifically marked so that their home can be identified. I certainly didn’t realise that they’d been given special dispensation to vote in a UK General Election when they are not UK Citizens.
If that’s the case, then perhaps you should be writing to Ms Nandy about how they are being marginalised, rather than mouthing off to her about a few empty crisp packets floating around. Alternatively, you could spend your off-season weekends organising a community litter picking day where you all don hi-viz vests for an hour and help clean up your community. You never know, you might even get a mention in the WEP!
4 June 2017 at 1:52 pm #159547Lisa Nandy, London liberal elite parachuted into a safe Labour seat, a million miles away from the people she is supposed to represent!
4 June 2017 at 3:02 pm #159548The asylum seekers distributing leaflets yesterday says it all for me, they are not allowed to vote themselves yet are canvassing to get people to vote for Nandy….Why?
One simple reason she does her utmost to get these people benefits, houses and eligibility to stay in this country, my daughter works at the Investment centre in Wigan where Nandy is based, queues a mile long everyday by AS/refugees demanding to see her, thats the reason she doesn’t help the people of Wigan.
The turnover of refugee’s in the Springfield area of Wigan living in HMO’s is astonishing, new faces every other week, no background checks by Serco…FACT!
Is it any wonder the locals are up in arms especially after the atrocities in Manchester and London over the past few weeks, these lot want Nandy in power for one reason only!
Fuck the EFL

4 June 2017 at 5:35 pm #159553Lisa Nandy, London liberal elite parachuted into a safe Labour seat, a million miles away from the people she is supposed to represent! Are you referring to Lisa Nandy, born in Manchester, Schooled in Bury and East Didsbury, and spent 4 years as a Councillor in London before returning to the North West in 2010 to become the MP for Wigan? I would suggest that as there wasn’t a general election between 2005 and 2010, then she wouldn’t have had an opportunity to be our MP, so she got herself some experience where she happened to be living. Nowt wrong with that.
Just because someone moves away from their area for a few years doesn’t mean they become a non-local – eg Nuneaton Latic?

You clueless halfwit! do you really think she would stand in Wigan if it was a marginal seat, Think about it for a moment lad……….erm……….no.
Why is she not standing in Manchester, Bury or east Didsbury if that’s where she Has connections to. She has zero connections to Wigan.
London Liberal elite (grand daughter of a Liberal lord) that’s what she is, London is where she headed to, she could of stopped in the NW and ply her trade but no London was her destination, her choice.
A million miles away from the people she represents, She will always put her party before the people of Wigan, that’s why she was a remainer and the vast majority of her constituents wanted out. She did what her party wanted not what the people of Wigan wanted!
5 June 2017 at 12:19 am #159559Lisa Nandy is a typical career politician who seems to have risen high up very quickly in the labour ranks. How & why?? What are her achievements to date that warrant such a rise to the top?
