Nothing to be scared of, they’re worse than us with less money these scousers.
Think we can get a win never mind a point, we’ll go there with nothing to lose, play our passing game and counter attack, no doubt they’ll have plenty of shots with the way our defence is but with a bit of luck and a couple of goals I think we can beat them!
We should go into the game with confidence and get at ’em as they say.
Starting XI:
Kirkland
Mario
Boyce
Bramble
FigThomas
DiameZog
Scharner
GomezHugo
After the Stoke game (how unlucky!!) I don’t think we need to change much, Gomez had a great game even after being kicked off the park on multiple occasions, Hugo is far more dangerous through the middle, Scharner does the midfield job well and we just need to make do with the back 4 until Jan and Koumas should be left on the bench, he is not good enough and the only contribution he made all game was the free-kick to set up the goal, he just didn’t look up for the battle and was giving the ball away far too much. Went missing for large parts of the game and proved he’s not got what it takes. Scotland for me is a decent player, some nice touches when he came on and with a bit of confidence I think he can be a good player for us. Sinclair is sh**e, simple as that! The lad is one of the worst we’ve had for a while. I’ll hold my hands up and say I wanted him in the 1st team and was wondering what he had to do to get a start but now, tried and tested it is very clear to me why he’s on the bench every week. Thanks but no thanks!
I’ll be there on wednesday and a big game to look forward to this coming saturday!
14 December 2009 at 7:43 pm #15263I think you’re bang on. Liverpool’s capitulation was great news for us as I believe now is the perfect time to play them.
Things aren’t going for them and I’m just getting the impression that it’s going to get even worse for the scousers. The season we’ve had with the 9-1 thumping at Spurs, the win against Chelsea and the wonder goal at Sjoke, I can see us pulling a suprise out of the bag.
They have all the pressure, we have nothing to lose. The script is set for our own Amigo to get Ranting Rafa the sack! I can see the headlines now!
14 December 2009 at 9:08 pm #15267both bang on there,i havnt been impressed by gomez but he dd have a good game saturday, seems to be a player that draws a lot of fouls out of opposing teams, deffo a better player when he has a bit of time on the ball,he might well get that at anfield, like you said,we have nothin to lose, they will be desperate for a win and they will probably expect one against us,so lets go for it. :)
14 December 2009 at 10:11 pm #15269We’ll get scutched.
Everybody sorts out their problems when they play us.
Hope not, but I’m probably right.
14 December 2009 at 11:41 pm #15279Come on fella’s, if we were to play out our skins and take the lead, Gerrard the diving cheating whinging thug would just have to have a word in the refs hear and he would restore the natural balance of who should be winning.
14 December 2009 at 11:45 pm #15280If Boyce fit then I agree with that side. If not then Scharner at the back and Koumas in midfield. (although maybe Amaya could start)
It would help if we played Sinclair on the right seeing as he has no left foot whatsoever.
15 December 2009 at 12:53 pm #15310… Gerrard the diving cheating whinging thugOr, alternatively, one of the best players in the world
… the natural balance of who should be winning.Yes, the “natural balance” of things being that we will get scutched.
