I think you can have two from the Premier League and I think Cleverley and Al Habsi were decent shouts last season.
Don’t think Cleverley will be back, hopefully we’ll sign Ali.
Just need to look for a good left back and a punt on young striker from one of the top clubs I reckon.

But he had had a full season in the premiership and failed at Blackburn, We knew he was bad in front of goal before he was signed. I think he is on about a loan striker like a Vela, Welbeck or Frazier Campbell. Obviously not those players because they had their bow last season. I think i would prefer to sign one rather than loan one, Remember all the trouble with Zaki.
29 June 2011 at 12:23 pm #68217Not sure if I agree with AB on Cleverley. He didn’t look Utd 1st team class to me. I think he’ll be out on loan again, and we might as well have him as anyone else.

With the signing of Young you cant see him getting on either wing and if they sign Nasri I doubt they’ll be much room in the centre…
But then again they might fancy him as back up over the likes of gibson in centre and obertan on the wing… I think its fair to say bebe is putting the cones out nowadays….
I hope he does come back… chipped in with a few goals and was improving all the time.

I dont think Cleverley has the pace to be a winger. Hes technically brilliant but other aspects of his game let him down…. He needs to vastly improve to be a first team regular at united i think they may give him half a season then he’l be gone. If we sign Al Habsi i think we’l loan another winger possibly Obertan as mentioned and maybe a defender.
30 June 2011 at 12:27 pm #68226Looks like Bobbys already linging up some big players in the loan market
1 July 2011 at 11:32 am #68238I think he would like big named players but what will the reality be.. thats a different conversation. !
1 July 2011 at 12:31 pm #68239Obertan seems to be the order of the day, He was the first player me and my mates said to go for, I think it is quite likely too. Him or Andros Townsend from Spurs, Cracking little winger him. Think Redknapp may try to break him through a bit next season though.
So that’s the winger sorted, What other position would you loan in, Or would you just loan two wingers. Think i would go for the latter but bring Moses into a more forward role. After all he is a striker anyway, Then sign another striker and cash in on barn door Rodders.
Everyone i speak to from other clubs seem to think Rodallega and Figueroa are world beaters and i think it is laughable they are rated at 10m and 6m, If we could get a fee like that it would be daylight robbery. Rodders can’t finish and has no pace and Figueroa seems to think he can bomb forward like Roberto Carlos but never bothers to get back in position and when he does he get’s nailed by whoever’s right winger we are up against. He must know that all the goals against come from down his side.

find it funny that you say rodallega has no pace yet he is our fastest player. agreed that he cant finish though

Fastest Player!!! I very much doubt it. The Arsenal game last season, The epic one, He was caught by Sol Campbell and Mickael Silvestre on more than one occasion. You need pace up front in this league unless you are blessed with a top 8 team.
