Been through the remaining fixtures several times now and I see us picking up 19 more points giving us 25pts in all ! Not enough obviously but how many do you reckon ?

Not enough obviously but how many do you reckon ?Well if your forecast points total is anywhere near as bad as the racing tips you once dug up, I’m purrin mi mortgage on us getting 52 points.

What a journey!23 November 2011 at 3:39 am #74914I’ve never been in a bookmakers office more than a handful of times in my adult life, I honestly cant remember placing a bet on anything in the last 20 years, I used to have 22.5 pence on the pools coupon everyweek and play the national lottery if an when i can remember, usually the euro one on a double or triple roll over – thats how much of an ardent gambler I am.
I think that shows how confident i wont be losing any money taking that bet.
23 November 2011 at 3:01 pm #74916I don’t think any of us could even predict this Saturday’s Sunderland game with any real confidence. Yes , many will favour a home win , some will be confident we can get a draw , whilst some may even go for an away win.
But to try and predict the next 26 games , over a period of 4 months , with a transfer window thrown in ( have you factored in the 10 mill that Whelan will spend in January ;) ) is simply impossible.
There’s a hell of a lot of balls to be kicked , in the most unpredictable sport going , before the fat lady starts opening her gob.

[/quote]I presume when you said 52 that’s just you spelling 25 incorrectly? Because 52 is an incredibly optimistic view :P
23 November 2011 at 3:50 pm #74918Its just a bit of fun ! I honestly cant see it being any better at the moment though but don’t take it as read ! As for my tips, if you had kept a log as I did you will have noticed that they showed a profit ! Not a massive profit but a profit all the same !!

what the tips on the old site? they made profit but people grumbled because they were short prices. recently yosser put up a thread and Phil posted up a 10-1 winner! SO YOUR POINT IS WHAT?

24 November 2011 at 12:27 am #74945Currently 11/4 with Victor Chandler to Stay Up. If it gets past 4/1 then I may put £50 on you to stay up, like last year when I won nearly £200 after sticking £50 on you to stay up prior to the Blackpool game.
It certainly helped pay for me watching the chubsters last summer. goodpost
