This has been one of the greatest weekends for Wigan Athletic.
Why do you even have to mention the rugby team? If they’d been on you would have complained. They haven’t and you complain. It’s not a contest – they play a completely different sport.
Give it a rest. I’m a patient man, but this is getting me down.

Having watched the game on TV yesterday (and many congratulations by the way), I was wondering how long it would be before the resident half-wit showed up with some tirade against rugby – less than 24 hours was the answer.
SDW – I’m sure you’ve noticed, but there is not a single post on C&W regarding the FA Cup win – its because they go on there to discuss rugby and dont give a flying f**k about soccer.
Considering there was no mention on C&W of the 4-0 thumping at the hands of Liverpool, nor was there any mention of the semi final during the week, I would say “no”.
Its not even as if the mods are continually policing it every second for an anti-latics thread to pop up. They really dont care about football – even more so since your chairman found that it is actually possible to play a game of football after a game of rugby the day before.

They really don’t care! what a load of boll*cks a couple of seasons back when West Ham were 2 nil up and it looked like we were going down, there was a thread started on C&W I can’t remember what it was called I’m forever blowing bubbles of something like that.
There was a sh*t load wetting themselves falling over each other to post and bask in what they thought was our last home game in the prem, so don’t talk stupid the reason they don’t care is because we are on the verge of creating history and they don’t like it!

I don’t wish them well at all and I hope they lose. There are many in Wigan who follow football but follow other teams. I’ve followed another team since the 70’s and that doesn’t change because my home town club play in the premiership.
