I’ve counted at least eight posts from you tonight featuring the phrase ‘superfan’, and one where you’ve called all the pro-Martinez supporters Pr**ks (which was deleted by admin).
You then cap it all off poking fun at Jayt and the site administrators.
You really are a model supporter of Wigan Athletic, and a prime example of why this club is the cosmopolitan European giant of a club that it is. Oh hang on, no it isn’t. We have a small fanbase, so let’s all stick together and support the team and manager eh? Or take a leaf from your book, and not do either.
I’ll still be here if we go down at the end of the season. I’ll shrug my shoulders, and get on with more important things in my life, but come July, I’ll buy a season ticket again. So does that make me a superfan? Or just a fan perhaps?
14 March 2010 at 2:58 pm #26418The word “CHUBSTER” comes readily to mind when I see this mon post.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!15 March 2010 at 4:04 pm #26555He’s a tosser, as already said, anyone who goes to the game and supports the lads is a superfan, and god help you if your pro-Martinez.
Obviously hates Martinez so much that he hurls insults at JayT and others just so he can have yet another pop at Martinez…..never heard of getting behind HIS club as he now seems to own it.
15 March 2010 at 4:23 pm #26558He is typical of most of these types of poster, probably multiposters. They just pick on people and throw insults, apart from pointing out failings of the team, dont have a credible argument, dont have viable solutions and dont seem to want to support the club. Which suggests they are just here to wind people up or arent fans.
15 March 2010 at 4:31 pm #26561To be fair, if he is a multi or rugby fan on the wind-up (and I don’t think he is either) he is fairly consistent and has spouted the same, albeit predictable, message all season.

i feel like the boy who cried wolf on here and i know for a fact that it will end the same way. (and that does not involve a lupine feast)
15 March 2010 at 4:53 pm #26567i feel like the boy who cried wolf on here and i know for a fact that it will end the same way. (and that does not involve a lupine feast)There you go again, implying that you are the only one with sufficient footballing nous to have spotted that we aren’t exactly Barcelona.
When will it dawn on you, if at all, that most of those who support Martinez (certainly those on this forum that do) actually realise that he is not the best coach in the world and that he has his flaws?

i dont imply anything – and i certainly dont claim, or have ever done, to know any more about football than anyone else, you lot who support him in my opinion do so blindly and that i dont understand, but that is my problem no one elses,
the wolf remark was not about football knowledge as you know it is my belief that martinez will be sacked at some stage despite whatever whelan says now.15 March 2010 at 5:25 pm #26569and i certainly dont claim, or have ever done, to know any more about football than anyone else, you lot who support him in my opinion do so blindly and that i dont understand, but that is my problem no one elses,Well, in my opinion, to call us “lot who support him” pr**cks, deluded and blind suggests to me that you think you know considerably more anyone else.

Well of course he will, very few managers don’t get sacked at some point. Don’t tell me you are going to say “I told you so” when it does happen.15 March 2010 at 5:44 pm #26571Well, in my opinion, to call us “lot who support him” pr**cks, deluded and blind suggests to me that you think you know considerably more anyone else.
You know that is a cheap shot – which is a regular from you despite your voice of reason persona, you know i withdrew and apologised for the “pr**ks” remark ,and if if you care to look at the other things i said it was “my opinion” which again i dont claim to be right or wrong.
the orwell analogy i used in the other thread seems very apt “some are more equal than others” on here and i seem to be in a minority.Well of course he will, very few managers don’t get sacked at some point. Don’t tell me you are going to say “I told you so” when it does happen.
i would never dream of telling anyone “i told you so” unlike the many who did so to me after mondays false dawn, what i will say though when he finally is sacked is –he should have gone after the st.mirren game ;)
15 March 2010 at 5:48 pm #26572nah, he should have gone after one of the victories over villa, chelsea or liverpool.
15 March 2010 at 5:50 pm #26573Surely not….we should have sacked him after Crewe eh Loudmouth. Can you imagine life for LMB under Kenny Swain, he’d have wanted him shot.
15 March 2010 at 5:55 pm #26574shot? no chance.
put him in a shed, give him a carving knife, place his nobby in a vice, then set fire to the shed.

Hardly as cheap as labelling those who disagree with you as pr**ks, deluded and blind in the first place.
And it’s one thing to say that it is just your opinion and claim it to be neither right nor wrong, then in the next breath accuse those who don’t agree with it of being pr**ks, deluded and blind.
Sorry, I mean just deluded and blind – your withdrawal of the pr**ks comment is duly noted.
15 March 2010 at 6:11 pm #26576Surely not….we should have sacked him after Crewe eh Loudmouth. Can you imagine life for LMB under Kenny Swain, he’d have wanted him shot. Our expectations had not risen to the levels they are now when swain was at the helm and who knows what he could have managed with any form of financial backing, swain has the unenviable record of being probably our worst ever manager, justified or not,but those were much different circumstances than the ones now.
For fans who are up in arms when pundits or jounalists resort to ill infomed opinion, badly researched facts ,rhetoric or just plain old stereo-typing it seems some have the remarkable ability to dip their toes into that murkey water when it suits. -
