versus second lowest scoring away team so we shouldn’t be surprised by a 0-0 scoreline.Haven’t seen game so not fair for me to comment on performance but I am very disappointed we didn’t get 3 pts. Play offs will be the best we can hope for I think.
27 October 2013 at 9:14 pm #122782Just spoken to my mate who was at the game VERY POOR except for the last 10 minutes.:( ‘Play Offs’… You’re living in cloud Cuckoo land. This time next week could see the end of our season regarding promotion. When is Coyle going to sign a loan signing or two? and make them forwards.. Must say I have given Coyle a fair crack of the whip but I’ve lost patience now…
27 October 2013 at 9:18 pm #122783Play offs? Are you serious? You mean survival! Apart from Barnsley and Europe weve been consistently woeful. Too many players living on reputation am afraid playing under a Manager lacking in ideas. Im not one calling for Coyle to go but he must be coming under pressure now.

27 October 2013 at 9:32 pm #122788I would hazard a guess that the 14 that played the game today are on double the wages of Charlton Athletics team. Of course we cant spend silly Money but Carson and Barnett apart this mons signed some right tripe
27 October 2013 at 10:11 pm #122795Yep, Powell and Rogne are crap.
Kill all avian predators.
Gooseander
27 October 2013 at 10:30 pm #122798Wasnt including Powell as he is a temporary signing. Ill reserve comment on Rogne as aint seen enough of him. Would you say Perch, Holt, Crainey, Mccann and Hounduran invisible full back were top signings? You must have watched too much rugby league in your youth!
27 October 2013 at 10:52 pm #122801Please show me where I stated the aforementioned were top signings. I think you must have eaten too many mushrooms in your youth.
Sorry to mention Powell, but you must make your opinions clearer in the future.
Live baiting, for or against?
Treble.
27 October 2013 at 11:02 pm #122804Didn’t Bobby sign Garcia?
27 October 2013 at 11:34 pm #122812Don’t think so Eggy bread.
Mashed bread is a good attractant for roach in rivers.

28 October 2013 at 1:04 am #122820If you sell one player to Everton for 6 million and sign nearly a full team and still have a million left you ain’t going to get a team of world beaters. The QPR game will show just how good we are

Full kit wanker thought James Mccann would be a good replacement should that happen.
Overall the recruitment was suitable for where we are but for whatever reason its not clicking up front.
A good start to that problem would be dropping James Mclean and having Holt and Fortune on at the same time to get on the end of his insistent wing play.
I am not convinced Holt has the speed/stamina to play up front on his own.
28 October 2013 at 1:53 am #122830I’m not convinced you would make an under 7’s team manager.
Pollan tail.

Sorry I take this back. I must have dreamed McCarthy leaving for £13m.
According to Skysports he missed a sitter yesterday…
http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/292809/report
“James McCarthy then blazed over from the edge of the box, Watson fired wastefully wide and Holt’s goalbound shot was blocked by Wood, leaving Charlton more grateful for the point by the end.”
