13 September 2009 at 12:48 pm #8640The highlights showed west ham attacking apart from the
wigan goal!!!!!!!! *ankers!!!!!!!!Don’t bother reading the Sunday papers then !
Roberto on the verge of the sack, West Ham were robbed, the game was dire, West Ham were denied a penalty, blah, blah, blah.
Come on, it wasn’t that bad. I can remember far worse games. I think the press alone will try and relegate us this season. Tossers the lot of em.

13 September 2009 at 6:02 pm #8665It is a programme that offers so much but delivers so little. It should be renamed ‘Football for Sycophants’.

13 September 2009 at 6:28 pm #8667Those three on MOD have not played football for over 30years.Tme to have a shake up………….
13 September 2009 at 6:39 pm #8668So there was City v Arsenal (4-2), top game of football with a bit of added spice (Adebayor etc). There was Spurs v United (1-3) another all action game. There were 5 goals at Pompey, 4 at Blackburn, 5 at Sunderland, 4 at Anfield, a last gasp winner at Stoke.
At our game, there was a scrappy goal (the only thing of note in a dour match).
How much time/space/punditry did our game deserve exactly?
13 September 2009 at 9:20 pm #8670We were crap, West Ham were crap, the game was crap and boring. May be that was why we were last.
13 September 2009 at 10:30 pm #8671One loveable rogue who comes on here summed it up the best walking home, he missed the West Ham shot that hit the post so i jokingly said you can see it on MOTD tonight if your still up, he replied back, “We will be on after the weather” couldnt argue with him…
13 September 2009 at 10:38 pm #8672We were rubbish, West Ham were rubbish, the game was rubbish and boring. May be that was why we were last. :roll:sorry pal your wrong. we were rubbish against wolves man ure and b,pool, 2nd half v everton we were decent and should have won, against west ham we were far better, ok we not seeing the type of long ball big man tactics from the last few years which has had its dividends but we are getting used to playing it on the ground more, keeping possession, using a patient build up, its not perfect yet, its a new system, but its getting better.
I do believe Gomez is not good enough, too slow and not strong enough for the position hes asked to play in, at home we should be playing 2 up front, if not play sinclaire wide, bin Gomez and play Koumas in the Gomez role.
just my thoughts…..13 September 2009 at 11:27 pm #8676Rarely have I watched Wigan play and not had to shout ” Keep the ball “. They did that well and there were lots of improved performances. I even thought the crowd were quite good. Enjoy the moment. We are 10th and we won.
14 September 2009 at 3:10 pm #8700We won, but we were abysmal. If you enjoyed that, I can only assume your favourite Latics team included Wayne Entwistle, Phil Daley, Andy Ainscow, Don Page etc.

He started off looking very decent, and then got a bad leg break.
Still watches us, he does.
