What a pain in the rear end.

I guess we weren’t the only ones stuck…saw a fair few flags and scarves!

Between junctions 2&3 near Coventry. Lanes 2&3 shut but nothing at all going on cost us an hour

You’d have thought with about 45000 travelling north that night they would have cancelled all non-emergency work…just shows the contempt the authorities still have for us fans

Shame, when we all came to a standstill we should have just all got out and had a party, that would have been a headline to embarrass the FA into taking the kick off back to 3pm.

Perhaps if your drivers had used the easiest and best route to and from Wembley you would have been home much earlier.

It was obvious 500 + coaches plus cars and mini buses heading back to the north west would result in gridlock at the smallest mishap.

We left Wembley coach park about 8:30 – 8.45 pm, spent some time in traffic getting onto the A40 then M40, the rest was plain sailing all the way home, we had 30 mins at Frankley services on the M5 and I was opening my front door in Orrell at 1:03 am.

4.5 hours including stop and traffic Jams nr Wembley

Our coach took us that way too, without the stop.

Got back to the car at about 8 o’clock, drank the champagne I’d taken down. No hold-ups getting on the M40 and back in the People’s Republic of Coppull by 11.15 without a stop. In my local for 11.30 for a jolly good time, back home at kicking out time to watch the match I’d recorded on ITV whilst partaking of numerous whiskeys. Oh joy, what a day!
