Agree with Yosser.
Roberts is fully fit and only out of the Rovers squad because they have to award him an automatic contract extension if he plays 10 games this season ( including if he is on the bench ). Even at 32, I still think he can do the business for us. At least he has the experience; not like bringing in some unknown Johnny foreigner who needs time to adjust to the Prem and to the culture in Wigan.
Billy Sharpe is worth a gamble, can’t be any worse than the other forwards that we have signed over the last 5 or 6 seasons.
We have not had a forward that can plant decent headers since Lee McCulloch left for Rangers.
