Magnus Eikrem, a 22 year old attacking midfielder from Norway has apparently agreed terms and will sign over the weekend.
Was on the books at United, but is currently playing for former Man U legend OGS’s team Molde in Norway.
Watch this clip of him playing for uniteds reserve team against Sunderland, especially his second goal.

What a journey!5 January 2013 at 12:28 am #99082looks superb, how come he went back to Norway and Fergie didn’t sign him up and t’other lad King is going Blackburn?

Solsjkaer after managing him in the reserves took him to Molde with him the cheeky poacher (although it was Solsjkaer who put united on to him in the first place)…
Helped by the fact he was at the end of his contract.
Back in 2010 him, Pogba and Morrison were the ones to watch according to the Man U fans who followed the reserves.
Also had 8 full caps for Norway while he has been at Molde so could be a good signing if pulled off.

It’s in the bag with both fee and medical complete. If you go on twitter and look him up it has been let out the bag somewhere along the line, unless the posts have been removed.

Is it in the bag or out the bag? Make your mind up fella!
I checked the players twitter but it was in norweigen although he hasn’t made a tweet in the 1st of January
If its that John Lewis you are referring to he does alot of tweeting that man including Aston Villa to bid £5 million for McCarthy….
If Zaha is going for ten plus James has to be worth at least that being premier league proven.

Boselli looks good on Youtube as well!
It’s amazing how many players have looked great on that site. My Everton fan mate was bigging up Kevin Mirallas by showing me Youtube footage of him that made him look better than Messi!
It’s amazing what some decent editing can achieve, isn’t it?
Regarding this Eikrem though, I like the idea of us signing a Norwegian. It’s a place I’d like to visit, as it looks very clean, scenic, and I watched a Michael Palin programme where he went to Tromso once and I thought ‘hmmm, looks a nice place’. My Everton mate went there watching them in Europe and said a pizza cost £29 and a McDonalds was about £15!
The UK has done ok out of Norway over the years. York got the Vikings, the Military OSE in WW2 got Max Manus, Trafalgar Square gets a giant Christmas tree every year, in the 80’s we got the band ‘A-ha’, United got Solksjaer, and television got the husky voiced Mariella Frostrup.*
*and yes, I would. If you were wondering. ;)
5 January 2013 at 2:37 pm #99125Not sure York was that chuffed to get the Vikings :/
