So does anybody know whats up and when hes back, if at all.
Rumours abound of alcoholism/drugs and american recovery camp ,not convinced these are correct, but why no positive news on exactly what the supposed injury is/was and how long to fix.
Very fishy.
We are desperate for him to be back.

Rumours like that are only “very fishy” if there is someone daft/gullible enough to believe them. Total bollocks!
15 February 2014 at 2:46 pm #127356grandson told me that rumour at school is that maloney was seen at scotsmans flash eating raw tench and shapeshiftin. so its not bollocks, alcholism and drugs are rife in schools these days
15 February 2014 at 3:04 pm #127357As for injured players Shaun is still a few weeks off getting back to training on grass, but he hopes he will get some games this season.
15 February 2014 at 3:26 pm #127360Thank you, WGTB – I was just about to post that myself.
Makes me wonder why I bother posting :)

didnt see your earlier post. thats a belter and must have took ages. Its reference to Maloney is very short, almost a brush off sort of comment if Uve only said that.
Im not slurring the no10 but there must be more to this than the simple, hip?, injury that we have been told about.
My musings are borne out of desperation to get him back, and quick.
Well done on yesterday.

16 February 2014 at 1:56 pm #127408Caldwell & Al Habsi were out for yonks too – Latics squad must be awash with wino’s & crack heads
16 February 2014 at 2:19 pm #127409The announcement that Maloney would need an operation came in late October. The reports said that he would be out for at least three months, and perhaps the rest of the season.
Here’s an explanation from Maloney;
