Our lodgers have gone and thrown their game tonight just so that they can play on Friday night and screw the pitch up for us for Sunday, Great.
Bobby, you might need to learn to hoof it.
You have to worry what goes through peoples minds at times.
Do you think the Wigan Rugby Chairman came down to the dressing room before kick off and asked his players and manager to “throw the game because we can ruin the pitch on friday for them bloody latics”. The dressing room then errupts in applause and vigorous head nodding at hearing such a brillant idea.
Do you think thats what happened? Really?
Two other points of note.
1. We are both lodgers. The stadium is owned by Whelco holdings. Should the chairman sell the club then we would carry on paying rent to Whelco. Whelan talked about handing the stadium over to Wigan Athletic FC but this transaction as yet to take place. Please correct me if im wrong.
2. The pitch can handle 2 sporting teams playing on it. What it cant handle is the weather. The pitch starts to deteriorate from December through to April like it does ever year since the stadium opened over 10 years ago.
I’m now wondering why i felt the need to clarify these points to someone who is obviously away with the fairies.
He will now read this and will not like being told he is wrong. I await the black is white arguement.

No way should the chubsters play a non entity game just 48 hours before a crucial PL game. It’s time the FA stepped in and made the smelly lodgers move to pastures new. Yesterdays attendance of less than 10, 000 shows that nobody gives flying Fek about the soup or leak or the sport in general, its dying on its feet, just look at the average soup or leak crowds. Even Aunty Doris [Mr super league himself] jumped ship and finds more comfort getting involved in a poor championship football club.
PS. DW gave the ground to Wigan Attletic Football Club with the proviso that they would give the worriors a 100 year lease. All that will mean jack shyte if the FA were to step in. Just let the pitch get messed up on Friday if it hommers down and mancini makes the excuse of a poor pitch should latics win on sunday. The pressure will be on DW yet again to make the cherry and shyte play elswhere prior to a latics game.
Its bin dun afoor itul hapun ergen!! :o  :D

Especially as it was said totally tongue in cheek, but don’t let that stop you have a dizzy fit.
Sometimes I wonder if people have had a ‘sense of humour’ bypass, or whether they actually have ever had a sense of humour, I’m lost for words (well nearly)
And sometimes I wonder if those people who suddenly change their tack and say they were joking all along when everyone else disagrees with them think the rest of us came over on the banana boat

17 posts in total so far, 1 of them utter drivel and 2 more consisting of the above repeated pointless “barb”.
You’re going to be a fantastic addition to the forum mate, well done. You should have registered as Oscar Wilde. LaticsAwayKid just doesn’t really do it justice, does it?

1. I’m sure the City game will be a non entity game to a lot of Warriors fans. They see the Hull KR match as crucial I’m sure.
2. The FA can’t tell another sport to do anything. If they insisted Latics play in a ‘one sport’ stadium, the cost of contesting the contract might not be worth the bother. Also imagine, god forbid, the cost Latics playing Championship matches in the DW Stadium with no extra income throughout the summer.
3. The attendance was 12 thousand and something and if this means it’s dying then all sports but soccer are doomed.
4. Maurice is a business man and a very good negotiator and has his own reasons for going to Preston.
5. DW and his management team have and will do everything possible to accomodate the other team in the play offs.
Nothing personal, just got a bit bored at work. ;)
