If its anything like the coaches to Bruge the toilets will be overflowing by the time you get to Dover. Best bring a 2 litre empty bottle ;)

          Finger on the pulse…..

Joanne has said there has been god early interest in the coach trip, though she will only take the first 50 names that she puts down, so if you are interested then get your name down and then you know your on.

You’ll only have to pay once you safely have your ticket in your hand.

She also said it is a very nice exec coach…. and won’t have the same issues with toilets or missing ferries that a certain other operator had.

The Supporters Club site is also publishing loads of information about Maribor and what to expect there……

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

Rather them than me on a coach trip all the way over there

It isn’t something I would do either BUT, as was explained to me by loudmouth a few weeks back, some people really don’t like flying, it fills them with dread and although it doesn’t affect me I can see that – this now gives these people an option to get over to Maribor and see if we can qualify.

Also, the flight prices are not exactly cheap now, so at £148 for travel and an overnight stay after the game, it is good value for money.

Not knocking the trip & I can see that it now gives planeaphobes (??) & those for who flights are now a bit too pricey but I’m one of them people who would have to be paid to go on a coach there.
Went watching England play in Gothenburg back in 1998 on a 5 day round coach trip (stopping off in Copenhagen on the way there & Hamburg on the way back). Comparatively dirt cheap & had a laugh at times but it felt like the journey would never end.
Mind you I think driving from St Helens to Tuscany & back this summer with a non-driving wife, 2 kids & a car crammed to bursting with cases & other holiday paraphernalia has put me off long distance driving for life!!

Oh & I assume that you’re the Jason who Joanne was referring to who is having a birthday bash whilst he’s over there!!

I have been asked by a friend, who is contemplating taking his wife and two kids on the coach ( he can’t afford the plane) will the NO ALCOHOL rule be strictly adhered to? and will it be a Family type coach like the Travel Club coaches to away games? as he doesn’t want to spend 24 hours on a coach with people drinking, and effing and blinding all the time?

I think most coach operators have the no-drinking policy now.

As for details, this is being done by the travel puzzle, the best thing is to call them direct and they will put minds at rest.

I think this birthday thing was supposed to be a surprise, but you’re not the first to tell me….. I actually don’t know what she has organised, but I hope it involves lot of wine

                Ooops
I can’t tell you what it involves but I can tell you the location – best not though, to save it from becoming like one of these teens parties one of their mates has stuck up on facebook & gets gatecrashed

I’m just gutted that my raft thing only runs in the summer

To be fair, I went to sleep on the floor of the coach on said Sweden trip & when i woke up in the morning it was like I’d acted as a sponge for every half-drunk can of lager everyone had knocked over in the night.
Within 10 minutes of the start of the second day of the journey some Bradford City fan was hurling up in the bottom of the freezer bag (well my mum’s) that I’d brought my beers from England in (thankfully all drunk by that point)
So I can see why he might be concerned!!

As the proud dad of 3 if I was given the choice between spending 48 hrs cooped up on a bus with a pished up tick’s fan or a crying, screaming, smelly farting, spewing up, moaning hard faced kid , I’d have the lashed up blue anyday of the week !!.
