The visas for Russia don’t take 6 weeks, they take 10 days at most and can be obtained in 2 days for express service.

If anyone is going and needs help with them, let me know – I process visas for Russia through my business.

Flights are currently £57 with Easyjet to Moscow too so can be done reasonably cheap. From Moscow it’s around £170 return flight or £120 return by train.

That’s really interesting to know Johnny, I’d pretty much given up on Kazan but might have another look now, thanks for the info.

I wish there was a separate thread for each Euro away game as I’m very interested in how others are getting to each game, but what do I know, I’m just a spectator, not a chairman.

Pretty much sorted for Waregem thanks to the selflessness of a good mate, got flights booked for Maribor (Heathrow to Zagreb) and plans for the round trip Zargreb to Maribor and back, just need to figure out Wigan to Heathrow on a Wednesday night and back on a Friday afternoon, would appreciate anyone sharing any info that will help me do that as cheaply as possible.

Usually the cheapest way to Heathrow is to buy the tickets separately. Train or bus to London then Tube to Heathrow.

If there are no cheap train tickets from Wigan to London, check Manchester to London, they’re usually cheaper. Use http://www.virgintrains.co.uk

Also check http://www.megabus.com – they run buses to London from Manchester and are sometimes only a fiver each way.
