Queued up today with my son at the new latics shop for signings and was able to speak to Kirkland, Caldwell and Roberto.
Martinez in particular took a genuine interest in the fans by signing his photos with individual comments and holding a conversation.
Regardless of how wigan do in the future,I for one will be 100% behind him.
Roberto in my humble opinion is a true gent and a fantastic embassador for wigan athletic.
Good luck for the coming season and up the tics.I went along and spoke with both Kirkland and Caldwell but was suprised to see that Roberto hadn’t made it and was a bit disappointed to not see him there.
Good to see a decent turnout as well. Queued for an hour with two of my grandkids before we got to Kirky and Caldwell. Roberto hadn’t arrived by then (was he doing some “business”?) Just wish they had turned the air con on as everyone was sweating buckets.
Roberto is a gent that is without question,but the jury is still out on his management big big season for him lets hope he is up to it :o

Didnt go this week, but when they did the shirt signings back in the early summer they really made an effort. Well done Bob and co.

Good luck for the coming season and up the tics.I was going to come on here and put exactly the same thing, i was really impressed with the way he was with the kids.That sort of things goes a long way to putting bums on seats, some of the kids could have easily been Utd and Liverpool fans who where up Wigan at the time.
