Bobby has been charged by the FA over his comments after the game at Old Trafford, so now not only do you have to deal with the ridiculous biased decisions that go against you, but you’ll keep your mouth shut aswell, he’s getting charged with insinuating bias in favour of the home team when playing at old Trafford, take it all the way Bobby, let’s see them try to get out of it with years of evidence in front of them.

Just shows you that the decisions go to the team that needs them the least, I bet the refs have been worth 6 to 9 points a season for the bastards over the years!

Sort of agree but Man U had a penalty denied against us last season that should have been given.

2oz quiver for me most of the time. ;)

Unfortunately, there’s not really much we can do about it by appealing and going through the official channels.

“The charge is in relation to an alleged breach of FA Rule E3 concerning media comments which implied that the match referee and/or match officials in general are motivated by bias and/or brought the game into disrepute.”

Unfortunately, that’s a rule that all the league clubs have signed up to and it was clearly broken.

Speaking personally though, it a load of old b@*#s and this continued example of the FA being completely infallible and no part of it being open to any sort of criticism may well end up being its ultimate downfall. Well, that and all the corruption, but of course nobody can talk about that because they are not allowed to :woohoo:

If he’s goign to criticise the ref’s which he has every right to do then he needs to be cleverer about it.
Alex Ferguson, prior to their game against Liverpool, was moaning about the ref’s at Anfield being against them BUT he kept it factual “In all my time at United we’ve had 1 penalty, I can remember it clear as day coz we’ve had that few. So I won’t talk about penalties coz it’s not relevant”. He’s had a whinge but he’s stated fact
What Bobby did was accuse the ref’s at Old Trafford of being biased & in effect cheating – if he comes out with it as bluntly as he did he will get charged just like Fergie did when he accused a ref of being unfit.

And ref’s getting decisions wrong at Old Trafford against Latics is not proof of bias or cheating. It’s proof that they got decisions wrong – If Bobby had said “The ref got too many decisions wrong there today & that’s happened in the past as well” he’s still inferring that they’re biased but he’s not giving the FA the rope to hang him with because they have got decisions wrong

To be fair Fergie has been disciplined and made an example of several times before, it’s all swings and roundabouts and so I see this as nothing but a storm in a teacup. Move along now there is nothing to see here !

Honesty is the best policy, eh? Well, it’s got him a £10,000 fine.

Throw away line in tomorrow’s papers, probably. it’d be different if he was the manager of a “bigger” club

            Give it a rest Tyldsley.

What Martinez said was factual just because he didnt reel off a list of statistics to back up his comments doesnt take away the fact the F.A should spend less time handing out fines and more time looking into the fact of why we are always on the end of bad decisions at Old Trafford!!!

            1505:

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: “I think [the start did not help us], it was important not to put ourselves in trouble, which is what we did. We had a lot of the ball after we conceded the first goal but we did not create a lot.

“Then, when we were 2-0 down and down to 10 men it became difficult, if it was 11 v 11 then we could have come back.

“Yes [Wilshere’s sending off] looked harsh from the stand, the second yellow.

“I think we were a bit unlucky, especially with the penalty decision, we always have a penalty against when we play Manchester United, us so we get used to it.

“We had the better chances than but overall in a game like this you ought to not put yourself on the back foot when you are one down.”

Wonder whether Wenger will cop for a fine also ??
