He must say things to wind us up after we’ve calmed down. Darksiders avoid it but today has given him great satisfaction
:dry:5 February 2013 at 2:10 pm #102671AnonymousPerhaps he got his leg over on sat night with mrs Martinez, and got his satisfaction ;)
5 February 2013 at 2:20 pm #102674You mean this?
“It’s another point gained. It was vital.
“We’ve played Southampton twice and got four points and that is a very good return.
“It’s vital to carry on picking up points. We have to get that consistency of picking up points and today gives me real satisfaction.
“Paul Scharner was very impressive and he brought real intensity to our defending. He will be important to us between now and the end of the season.
“We still have got many points to achieve and we have to use our experience of previous seasons.”
Yet again, as much as anything it’s for the benefit of the players and their morale.Serious question: what would you prefer him to say?
5 February 2013 at 2:20 pm #102675Like Griff and Standish have said many times before, he isn’t going to say anything negative about his side to the media but one has to admit, his post match interviews are getting more bizarre by the week, not to mention his rapidly thinning hairline ! It’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it !

Said it before, and I’ll say it again – I couldn’t give a monkey’s what he says in public, it’s what he says in the dressing room that matters.

It would appear that your English isn’t too clever of late ! By the way RM’s English is nigh on perfect as it should be having lived and worked amongst English speaking folk for almost 18 years ! I am fairly confident that I would be speaking fluent Spanish now if I had been living in Spain in similar circumstances for the last 18 years ! B)

He has lived in Scotland, Wales and Wigan. I’m not sure there are many people fluent in the English language from those places based on speaking to them in my job.
