Dear the Martinez fan club (Griff you can be included)
Do you still believe in Martinez and why?
I do not becasue ie plays poor players at the start out of position, he has stolen the passion from our club, he has no idea!!!!
You will try and defend him by going on about the results against Liverpool and Arsenal I suppose; but a draw against a very poor Liverpool side is not one to use and the Arsenal result I cannot explain so you can have that one.
Please tell me why people are still for Martinez being our manager, what has he got over this club?????
The players who played tonight have an extra 40% somewhere and this would come out if we had a manager capable of bringing it out.
Again thsi week he is in the paper saying how good Newcastle are and we should be concerned. We might as well put the white flag up.
The other concern is that if we go down, this bunch of players will not bring us back up.
I await some brilliant comments here…..

I like football played on the ground – my personal preference, and that’s what Martinez is trying to bring to the club.
No doubt you will reply with a childish remark, but as requested, there is your reason.
Standish – I also enjoy football being played properly. Do you honestly believe wigan play attractive football? We try and pass it around the back 4 going sideways, we look so uncomfortable trying this then we lose it. Stam gave the ball away every time tonight trying the Martinez way. We conceded a goal tonight playing the Martinez way.
Our only attacking threat is when we put it long to N Zogbia to chase.
If you like uncomfortable passing then I understand why your happy.
Are you happy that we fan mot create chances because were to concerned passing backwards and slowing the game down.

Re-read what I posted. It’s my preference. However, in my opinion, we do play some very attractive football at times ( I enjoy watching Spain, many people don’t). I’m not going to respond to you again, because I think you’re a wind-up, and if you’re not, I seriously can’t be bothered communicating with you.

You seem rattled that you are being asked to defend your opinion. So would I if I claimed that you enjoy watching Wigan under Martinez.
You are in the minority if you enjoy watching us at the minute. But I don’t believe you do!!!!
I enjoy watching Spain and Arsenal who play the passing game but the difference between us and these two is the players find the tarked regularly and actually pass the ball forwards once in a while
The other difference is they play with class players, we have average players and try to play a way the players are not capable of.
Why can’t we play to our strengths?
Martinez has no idea how to play football, he thinks sideways uncomfortable passing is attractive football. He has tried it, it has not worked, change it or resign.
I still believe Martinez can keep us up.
Granted, if we were to have lost against Wolves and Arsenal I would have wanted O’Neill at all costs.
McCarthy is back in 3 weeks.

Moses back late Feb – early March.All of those players will help us a lot starting against Hull in the FA Cup when hopefully Boyce gets his 1st game since October.
We don’t even need N’Zogbia to stay up, we’ve beaten Spurs and ‘big’ Hartlepool without him …. why not Bolton, Hull and Fulham ?
