This guy has ben spouting the same old retoric for at least 12 months. Instead of Sky keeping interviewing him. Why don’t they just replay the same interview. As it’s the same story “Unlucky” “Self Inflicted” ” 5 players Missing” “Got to learn” “Disallowed Goal made a difference” etc. etc. Never once has he admittted to making the wrong team selection. It’s everybodies fault except mine…. Oh! one change. From saying “Goals don’t matter” its’ now “Goals are a major aspect of the game”

Well turning up dressed like that would have put the lads in an upbeat mood eh !! You are what you wear and what you wear reflects your mood and so therefore I can only assume he was not in the best of spirits pre kick off either !! Dead man walking me thinks !!
It’s his whole demeanor which is completely unatural in a sport like football. He stands there with arms folded for the whole 90 minutes. Shows no emotion, if we score or let in a goal, and has Graham Jones, like a little errand boy, running up to him, saying something in his ear then going back to the bench. It ain’t natural. He must be the only person in the whole stadium week in week out who dosen’t show any passion whatsoever.
You can say what you want about managers like Mick McCarthy and Ian Holloway at least they show some emotion, which must have some effect on the team.
However if a team lets in a goal and they look across at a manager who is stood there, like something out of Madame Tussaudes. Have you ever actually played sport? It’s encouragement ‘Keep it going, never mind’ etc, and is what most coaches do rather than scream at you every time you make a mistake. Do you honestly think he claps misplaced passes?I know that he is not clapping the misplaced passes. I was making the point that this is the only thing that gets a reaction from him

Neil Warnock, for one, used to rant and rave. Didn’t do him a lot of good in this league, did it?

When a pass is misplaced, vast swathes of the crowd groan and automatically look at the manager for someone to blame.
When someone has a good shot, or a great pass is put through, the crowd applaud and nobody looks at the manager. Next time, look to see if the manager is applauding and trying to keep the momentum going.
As Griff has said, why jump up and down for the duration of a game? I didn’t think the cameras panned over that often on the foreign channels!
