Give it up Moggy. If you try and bring a bit of common sense into it, you’ll be accused of being of being deluded or having blind faith.

Moggy he can say what he wants to Franco face to face tell him how great he is blah blah blah but to come out in public with utter shite. Franco has no chance of playing for Argentina he is quite simply a million miles off being good enough.

I actually think it’s the other way around.

In private he can (and should) tell him what his failings are – but support him in public.

Surly to say such a thing in public would just bring ridicule, especially from rival fans !! Its almost laughable in fact it is laughable !! :P

It’s hardly laughable to rival fans Phil, as most of them don’t even know what Di Santo looks like or who he is. A lot of them think Figueroa is one of Wigan’s star players because they saw his goal against Stoke, and they think Rodallega goes missing every few years for the African Cup of Nations.

I’m with Garswood on this. Blow up their profile in public to boost their ego, then privately tell them the error of their ways.

It happens everyday in industry: ‘Dave’s one of our brightest stars – he’s a real asset to the company’ and in private tell him he’ll do better if he improves on his timekeeping and stays off Cockney Latic during office hours.
