i am looking from a reaction from those on here who thought that one of the questions to ask martinez during a q&a session with the fanzine editors was – why do you wear brown shoes with a black outfit,or why dont you wear a latics scarf -when serious questions like -why is your team s h i t e should have been the ones being asked.
20 September 2010 at 2:06 am #46831Well one was disappointed with his sides performance and the other didnt have a fcukin clue ! The former did however pick up 3 pts !!

I dont think he is stubborn, just really really out of his depth. Its like asking one of us to get from Glasgow to London in under 2 hours, and having the choice of to either pilot a Boeing 757 from Glasgow to Gatwick at 450mph, but having no clue on how to fly it, so getting in the car and hoping for the best, at 70mph, knowing that at the end of the journey your objective will never ever be achieved. He is a clown.

As for yesterday’s game, it is impossible to blame Martinez for two schoolboy defensive c0ck-ups.
So, what can we blame him for?
Well, for one, playing Di Santo as a lone striker when he seemed last week to be the answer to that troublesome creative ‘hole’ player role.
Two; I presume he is the one who tells our midfield to sprint as fast as they can to the player with the ball but then bans them from tackling when they get there.
Three; I hope to God he doesn’t tell players to pass the ball sideways at free-kicks and corners but I guess he must do.
Four; allowing Figueroa to injure Tom Cleverley in training.

Not sure Sammy, but I know for a fact that he caused Cleverley’s injury at some point on a football pitch this past week.

oh i understand griff – what i dont understand is people supporting this cretin in charge, and i must have a sense of humour ,i cant think of any other reason why i keep buying a season ticket and sitting through EVERY minute of the dross served up by martinez in the 4 home games so far.
now how many of you super fans can actually say that they have seen the full 360 minutes + added time of tedious, boring, slow, predictable, garbage on show so far this season.20 September 2010 at 1:42 pm #46874now how many of you super fans can actually say that they have seen the full 360 minutes + added time of tedious, boring, slow, predictable, garbage on show so far this season.I’ve seen all 360 minutes, yes. What’s your point, that “super fans” don’t go to games? You’re not making much sense.
Rubbish yesterday, I agree. Not sure a change of tactics would have prevented those goals going in, though.
20 September 2010 at 2:06 pm #46878To be fair Griff it is good to know that Figgy can tackle !!
