When Martinez was appointed, my attitude was of the following.
“I’m a bit worried because of his lack of experience at the top level. However, if we play decent, passing, entertaining football, that’s good enough for me. If we play good stuff all season, and lose a load of games 3-2 or 4-3…….and get relegated, then so beit”.
I’d rather us be like that, than watch the crap that Bruce’s tactic churned out last season. Dear god! It’s the first time in my time as a match going Wigan Athletic fan, and a football fan in general, that I actually FELL ASLEEP at a game. It was only for a minute or two……but it happened. (Think it was either Stoke or Bolton, at home) :|
