Humongous day for the tics tomorrow. Nerves jangling already. After everything this club has been through since July and the way its had the life brutally kicked out of it. No club deserves a bit of good fortune more than the Latics. Extremely difficult game v Brewers so let’s hope other results go our way and we get the necessary points needed to stay up. I’ve said all along we would go down as trauma after trauma injury after injury player after player came and went. We had no right to stay in contention everything possible conspired against our proud damaged club and the relegation trap door opened wider as the season progressed. Yet somehow this wounded animal wouldnt curl up and accept the innevitable. We are so close to pulling off yet another Wigan Athletic miracle so come on boys cross everything possible and hope. Pray if needed coz by the Christ Leam, Gregor and the lads so richly deserve it.COYL
I’m going for a 2-0 home win, the players will be busting a gut to impress LR and earn themselves a contract at the end of the season. Burton hopefully will take their foot off the gas with nothing to play for.
Then again we never do owt the easy way.
Well thats one place sorted. Hopefully the other 2 go today and then tuesday is party time.
On another note, sunderlands players must have signed new contracts as they seem bothered again. Or maybe mutty was just talking bollocks. Not sure which.
Feel we always play better against the better teams so you never know against Hull, three points against Swindon should do it though, some achievement given what’s gone on, piss this league next season UTFT 💙 🇧ðŸ‡
Northampton guaranteed 3 points on the last game of the season. Rochdale with a 97th minute equalizer and a run-in against sides with nothing to play for.
Thankfully Hull have wrapped up promotion before next Saturday, but the question is do they want to humiliate Wigan like Wigan humiliated them last July. They’ve done it once this season already, but I suspect if there’s one team that they really want to repeatedly hammer, its Wigan.
Could all go to the last game – bet you’ll suddenly become a Sunderland fan then eh Scab?
