Bob says he told Callum McManaman on Saturday that he wouldn’t be playing against Huddersfield so that he wouldn’t suffer his usual pre match nerves and would go home and get a good nights sleep ? I think he would have been pretty pissed off myself and more than likely didn’t sleep as well as his boss might have thought he would ! Surely if he suffers from pre match nerves then would he not have had a bout of them when Bob informed in on Sunday morning that he was in fact playing ? I am not sure whether I fully believe that this was indeed a master stroke, more a case of an after the event claim to one !
Worryingly, Bob thinks that young Callum is going to be an important part of our relegation battle and that he is a player that can create something out of nothing ! I will gladly doff my cap to both manager and player if this master stroke pays off but somehow I just cant see it !

I dont think he is trying to make himself look clever just giving us fans an insight into the club which is always welcome.
Whatever he did it worked Mcmanaman looked really good against Huddersfield ( okay so they were no world beaters)

See I dont get the mentality of that, that lad has his best ever performance for us and everyone jumps on here going right he has found his level he will never make it in the PL ?!??!
Let us not forget he is the biggest / only prospect to come out of our youth system since Leighton Baines.
He also offers us something different from the rest of the forwards as I think Dicko is probably 1 or 2 seasons away from Callum’s current level.
