A couple of clubs have stopped doing matchday programmes. They were always one of the main sources of advertising income but that’s not the case now. Apart from the FA Cup Final and the Europa Cup matches I haven’t bought a programme in god knows how long.
Yeh, can understand that – but to keep the same price and cut the content by more than 50% is a bit much .. but .. no one forces anyone to buy it and i dont think i will buy any more. Pity, part of my match day experience for many years
There are a few fans contributing now, much better than it used to be….
Everything is going online now, so don’t be surprised if footy programmes follow
I sense that the programme is a work in progress. As the games come, I can see more and more content being included. Bare in mind all thats gone on. Its getting back into the swing of things again.
I’d like Mal Brannigan to do a column.
Also a players column page ‘thoughts from the camp’. Maybe a quiz page…maybe with a prize.
