Just like to point out that the stories of me “cheering on Liverpool in the pubs of Old Skem” are so untrue, it’s like saying Jordan’s a very shy nun. Ha Ha!!!!
Anybody looking at the CL Facebook page, can see some of my pics from past years. Earliest are from 1987/88, and there are away photo’s from Huddersfield 1989, Watford in the cup (was in 1991?) Etc, etc.
Liverpool? Give me a break. Growing up amongst gloryhunting koppites was a fu*kin nightmare. Everton? Yeah, I’d prefer them out of the two. But since I first went to latics in 1986, I’ve only followed one team.***
As a matter of fact, I’ve only ever watched ONE game in a pub in Skem and it was Sunderland V Charlton in the play off final, circa 1998. Go on then, accuse me of being a Mackem….. :roll:
Again, a cheap shot aimed at me on a site I don’t frequent. FFS! Get a grip you silly little oiks. I’d like to think this is just kids…..but it isn’t.

***Although the mentality of a lot of our fans has made me question why on a few occasions. Yes it has. You get people going on about ‘JCL’ fans and all that, and yet it seems that the same people would love to get rid of me, a fan of 20 odd years. The Irony in that? FFS!

But yeah, I joined Latics as a JCL in 1986. Just as a really good team was being disbanded. My first game was Warren Aspinall’s last, so, yeah, obviously I was a Gloryhunter…… :roll:

after losing 9-1 at weekend, arent there more important things to worry about?

Can I just ask you what thread it is that you are making a big deal about I cant seem to find it. Also what does it matter if you cheers liverpool? it means nothing, I cheer liverpool, and man city or anyone else in the league who play against man utd, doesn’t mean i support them all
