        Have had a Sony eReader for over a year.

        Absolutely brilliant. Will never replace “real” books for tactile effect (no, I’m being serious), but for being handy to read something without carting books around can’t be beat.

            Outdated technology waiting to be filed next to Betamax, with the advent of Tablet PC’s why would you carry the kindle around when it could do so much more.

            It will die a death within 2 years.

              Mam an step dad just bought 2 for £300 =/ For their cruise (so they dont need to take books) I said it looks abit a waste of money. Apparantly tho once its fully charged it will last a month! They are weird because they have no back light… Still looks a waste of money though.
