Hope its true, Sky Sports Transfer talk just said Wigan have rejected 4 bids from Burnley for McArthur and re-iterated he is not for sale, and that Forshaw will be on his way today.
This is a true test of how this season will go – keep McArthur as well and this will strengthen – sell McArthur and bring in Forshaw I just don’t see the point. We all know every player has his price, but surely if we want a return to the PL we need to keep hold of our best players as well as bring in more to further strengthen the squad.
Lets hope he isn’t the last one we bring in and kick the season on …
u should of put not for sale yet, Leicester are interested and Whelan as said lets see how much they want him so I would imagine at the right price he will be gone this week.
I hope its not a replacement, surely we need to increase our numbers and quality players, really hope we can keep him.
Agreed. Pity though, hes been our most consistent player of late, going back to last season as well.
Would be great but after he scored the other week and re-iterating his desire to stay at Leicester, cant see him willing do drop to a mediocre championship team, but yes would be a very good deal for us that.
I would take 4 mill plus chris woodyep spot on
