Reading what Uwe has said in the press about not looking at any major signings in the January window and him preferring to do his business in the summer, that along with the chopping and changing of his line ups, which we can assume is to try and find his best line up, does that mean that we have given up on a major push for promotion this year and are building for next season.
If this is the case, do both Uwe and Jonathon not think that it is a dangerous game to play that could backfire.
If it is indeed the case, as we seem to be drifting further and further away from genuine play off contention, should the fans not waste any more money traveling to away games in particular.Edit
Now I have asked the trivial stuff, keeping to the theme Griff observed –
Our previous manager Roberto Martinez enjoyed great success at WAFC wearing brown shoes with a dark formal suit on the touch line, has Mr Rosler any plans to continue that trend.

He’d be a fool not to!
11 February 2014 at 5:27 pm #127167I have a meeting with Jonathan Jackson, Uwe and the other website editors on Wednesday. Please can you add sensible questions below and I will endeavour to get them asked/answered for you.
1. We are one of the lowest scores in the Championship, what are Uwe’s thoughts on this and what are his plans to address the situation
2. Have financial restraints influenced Uwe’s decision not to make permanent signings in this January window
3. If not then why does Uwe prefer to buy in the summer
4. Is Uwe’s squad rotation a tactical approach to each game or is he still trying to identify a players potential / best positionAlso, i am planning to go to the Cardiff match so does he think we will score a goal :silly:
11 February 2014 at 6:08 pm #127170We have discussed how managers deal with press conferences on several occasions and so why does anyone think that this little confab will be any different !If you do want a serious question then ask him why he didn’t do his homework and watch the video of McManaman ripping a new arsehole out of Huddersfield in last seasons FA Cup tie, he might have been tempted to play him from the start had he watched that !Because it isn’t a press conference is it? It’s a semi closed-doors chat with genuine fans of the club. Clearly, not every Tom, Dick or Phil can attend and if you think posing such a critical question in such a confrontational manner is the right way to go about this kind of session, then I think you’re being a bit naive. It’s exactly that kind of question, couched in exactly the kind of way, that will encourage Herr Rosler to say “f** that, I’m not putting myself in the firing line to have these guys rip the piss out of me when I could meet with professional media outlets instead and get my message across properly – like managers at every other club do”
But you knew that already, didn’t you? It’s exactly the sort of ‘sensible’ question that Jay wasn’t looking for.
11 February 2014 at 6:24 pm #1271711. Grant Holt: was it his decision or the club’s to let him leave?
2. Any update on when we’re likely to see Maloney play for Wigan again?
4. What’s the latest update on the academy development?
5. Who would win in a fight: you, Martinez or Coyle?11 February 2014 at 6:45 pm #127172realistically what position does he see us finishing this season. not what he wants the fans to hear but realistically

11 February 2014 at 7:33 pm #127175Whilst appreciating the need to keep players fresh & free from fatigue & the injuries that creates in a congested fixture list like Latics have had this season, is he not worried that making 4-6 personnel & positional changes from game to game might be hampering the squads ability to build partnerships, fluidity & momentum?
11 February 2014 at 9:44 pm #127176Thank you for this opportunity, JT.
What are his views on a 3-man and a 4-man back line?
Has he a preference?
Would he prefer to play one system consistently or is he prepared to change from game to game?
Does he decide the formation;
depending on the players available?
depending on the opposition?11 February 2014 at 10:32 pm #1271771. Grant Holt: was it his decision or the club’s to let him leave?
