I believe you are now the FANS LIASON OFFICER? If so, can you find out why the Maribor ticket prices have increased by nearly 30% in the space of a couple of weeks. Surely the Sterling exchange rate against the Euro hasn’t dropped that much
16 November 2013 at 3:48 pm #123504I am guessing it is because it’s a different stand, but I will ask the question on Monday morning, for you (unless they reply to my email over the weekend.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
16 November 2013 at 6:43 pm #123506Congratulations for taking on that role Jason. I’m sure you will do a good job even though you have a young family to keep you occupied and no financial reward for the time you will have to commit to this.
Well done! :cheer:

What a journey!17 November 2013 at 2:10 am #123510There is an SLO area on the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club site – Your answer is here
Thanks JR, hopefully I can get issues that are relevant to us fans sorted out quickly and more transparently than has been in the past under the old system.

17 November 2013 at 2:53 am #123511Something isn’t right about the ticket prices…. Kazan fans only Paid 250 rubles i.e. £5 for their tickets, which where in exactly the same position on the ground as Latics fans, but at the other end of the stadium. To me it looks like exploitation from Maribor (and Kazan) knowing Latics fans are desperate for tickets. Let’s see exactly where in relation to the earlier tickets these extra tickets are. Just looked at photographs of the ground and at the away end the only barrier I can see is more or less straight down the centre of the stand.

The difference you are quoting is totally insignificant in the scheme of things. Go and watch your team and enjoy the occasion, if my mates paid 20 dabs less than me so what I will be there and that’s all that matters.

Obviously you are a guy who doesn’t mind being RIPPED OFF You have missed the point… If you went in a bar and you were charged £5 for a pint and your mates were charged £3.00 you would be O.K with that would you?
and why were we charged 3 times more than Kazan fans for exactly the same location, be it on the opposite end??? The Kazan and Maribor fans were charged the same as us when they came here…17 November 2013 at 7:44 pm #123528Something isn’t right about the ticket prices…. You are not talking much of a difference and we are lucky to get these additional allocation.
If you book a package holiday 12 months in advance you usually pay a considerable less than the ones booking a last minute job.
Its not right I agree, but its also not worth making all the fuss that you have made on the various threads on here.If I had booked the travel package to Slovenia then failed to get a match ticket, I would be prepared to pay 3 times the ticket value to get one. That’s what some fans have had to do, its not right for many reasons, but its part of the modern game and the reason why fans choose not to travel to see their team.
