if he sells Moses ! I will seriously consider packing in football altogether. If Moses goes, then there is not another player in our current squad worth turning up to watch. Totally piss ed off with the Latics at the moment. It will demonstrate the total loss of ambition at the club if he is allowed to leave; so why should our loyal longstanding supporters show misguided enthusiasm by continuing to spend our hard earned cash on a bunch of no hopers ?
8 January 2012 at 1:54 am #77391You’re reet.
Just got back; spent the best part of £150 on a day out and hardly anything to clap or cheer. Do you think the club will reimburse me for attending that farce ? Disgraceful Wigan, and disrespectful to the travelling fans.8 January 2012 at 2:28 am #773988 January 2012 at 2:50 am #77401I’ll just point out that Moses played today which means he is now cup-tied. Less value, and therefore unlikely to be sold.
8 January 2012 at 4:35 am #77451Disgraceful Wigan, and disrespectful to the travelling fans. When I saw the result I was tempted to post a knee jerk reaction with a subject along the lines of Disgraceful, but I then thought “Based on last season and Palace in the Carling Cup, what did you expect?”
Subconsciously I (and I suspect many others) had known the result of today’s game for weeks in advance – it was an odds-on banana skin or if you want (as per another post) inevitable.
Palace and Swindon away for me, as a London Latic, were the best cup ties we’ve had in years – two chances to relive the old days of away games at local London clubs and nearby provincial towns, and get some much needed non-prem cheer.
However, I left Palace’s ground in August, as Papa puts it, “disrespected” by Bob and the team and I wasn’t going to experience that again…despite even at 4.50pm today still badly wishing I’d gone.8 January 2012 at 4:40 pm #77541I’ll just point out that Moses played today which means he is now cup-tied. 8 January 2012 at 4:44 pm #77545It wouldn’t really though….they’ve said that loads of times before only to go on and sell.

Don’t hold your breath LHL, when was the last time a positive statement was issued by our club?
We have both been watching the Latics for 40 years or so now and even though we are hanging on in the PL, watching at the moment feels worse than anytime in the past 40 years.8 January 2012 at 4:55 pm #77548No chance of it being the last straw, Whelan has given up so this clown has a job for life

Would be nice if Moses announced that he has signed, or intends to sign, the new contract that is on offer for him. Then the club wouldn’t have to worry about whether they have to sell him or not, would they?.
Ditto, Diame and Rodallega.
