Milner or Ireland

I know this isn’t anything to do with the Latics but does anyone else feel like 18m plus Ireland for Milner is a bit over the top, If i was Villa i would be thinking they have a better player by far in Ireland anyway plus 18m to slosh around with to spend on who they like. The game is going crazy, Man City will run this league for about 5 seasons and then they will be in the dog do when the multi rich owners decide they have had enough. I don’t particularly like Man City but their fans will think they are king of the hill at the moment but in time they will suffer and no club could possibly handle debts like they will have as soon as the varnish wears off. Its such a shame to see our league going to the dogs like ours. Just how many big clubs outside our league could be bought out, effectively creating some kind of elite league where the teams every couple of seasons are the same ones.

The championship teams who could be bought out realistically

Leeds
Derby
Cardiff
Nottingham Forest
Norwich
Leicester
Middlesbrough
Ipswich
QPR

They all have the fan base, Experience, some kind of history one way or another, QPR are already rich and could go up this term, but the others are premiership clubs waiting to happen. If you was an investor and you had the pick of the following teams who would you chose

The premiership candidates

Begrudgingly – Wigan
Blackpool
Bolton
Fulham (regardless of last season)
Stoke (although show a lot of ambition)

Lets be honest the teams who would go, The premiership corrupt elite would love to get rid of it they had the chance. Although we deserve to be there on merit i fear a league in the near future where foreign investors rule the league.
