against a Liverpool side who have roughly the same points total today as when we beat them at Anfield last season .We all know Suarez is quality but he must have thought he’d died and gone to heaven with defending like that.First 25 was pitiful and killed game instantly, just no where near good enough.I still don’t see the progress from this stage last season but i’m sure i will be again enlightened on here very soon .

Mr B get a grip.Better players under manager who is moving forward.move on.Yeah right, that Stuart Downing is world class when it comes to scoring headers, or is that just against woeful wigan defenders ?
Your are right about a manager who is moving forward, pity we have one stuck in the dark ages when it comes to sorting out the problem that has dogged us from his first ever game in charge.
3 March 2013 at 1:24 am #104246And your point? Liverpool where better .move on

Thought Alcatraz quality when he came on and contained Suarez really well, him and Scharner looked good
god knows why we need the extra centre back so our full backs can push forward……..one is too old and the other is too fat
Thought we got what we deserved today, our defending was aweful and you can’t win football games and defend like that.
3 March 2013 at 1:33 am #104248Mr B get a grip.Better players under manager who is moving forward.move on.Factually correct, but not the reason for that poor result today. We made an average side look good, by gifting them 4 cheap goals, constantly losing the ball and playing with no intensity until we shifted formation. Reina was their best player, rescuing a jittery back 4 that we didn’t press/test enough.
And as for the in-fighting – twice now in the space of 3 league games…and twice more than I can ever recall in nearly 30 years following the tics.
3 March 2013 at 1:46 am #104250Our first attack and Kone and then De Santus fluff a golden chance each. They on their first attack score an unchallenged header and dance through our defence for the second.A badly formed wall allow a stupid third goal to deflect in and that was that game over!
he got his team selection and tactics wrong tonight why didnt Alcaraz start??
we are running out of games to sort all this out because this horendous home form is going to cost us if not turned around QUICKLY!
had to laugh at the wembley chants tonight as Everton supporters will be already booking their London hotels after seeing that.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH’!!!!3 March 2013 at 1:53 am #104251I take it you will not be going to ever ton?with your positive attitude ?then wembley if we get there ?
3 March 2013 at 2:02 am #104252I know some folk like stats and all that but Liverpool took there chances and we didn’t i’m afraid 6 shots on target a piece btw is it time ali was dropped not the same keeper as last season imo

3 March 2013 at 2:22 am #104254Bonding in Tenerife didnt work it seems, looks well when the ref stops the game when we are defending a corner to calm two of our players down.

Bullshit, the only thing it “showed” was a lack of dicipline and respect.
