I have to work on Saturday so I will miss our FA Cup encounter with Crawley Town.
It will be the third home match I have missed since our 1-0 victory over Whitby Town in the FA Cup in 1981. To say I’m pissed off would be an understatement.Hard lines, but not a bad effort all told
It’s the inconsiderate buggers getting married in the season that really get on my nerves , not as if I particularly want to attend their wedding
or that of their offspring in any caseFortunately I have managed to swap my shift so I will be able to go tomorrow afterall.

Remember 1st round day at Canal Street a few years back. Eveing walking down cos of pre-match.Aye, it feels a bit like the old days. It was a bit wet at Runcorn that day walking through a quagmire to get to the away end. You can’t beat the FA Cup.
