Look at the state of that pitch at Plymouth for that last goal. If he can do that on a pitch that looks like it’s been ploughed just imagine what he’ll do on the carpet like surface we have at the DW ;)
Some superb first touches there, especially among the later strikes. And he seems to know where the net is in exactly the way that Scotland doesn’t. So will Bob persist with playing Rodders to his left, Z’Zogbia to his right and Scharner/McCarthy coming up behind in the hole? Together with Caldwell finally offering some stability at the back, it’s mildly promising.
I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that he’s got 6 goals in his last 9 appearances for Palace, straight into our first team I would think after Saturday.

Where though? On the left, up top with Hugo, or up top on his own?
Cant wait to see this lad in action, is he an out and out striker though? I know he can play wings and he has only scored 11 in 85 appearences so were palace playing him on the wing at times?
I think this signing is one of the best we have made as a club. He fits perfectly into our system with him on the left, nzogbia on the right Hugo up top And McCarthy just behind. I have watched a few palace games and from what I’ve seen, he’s a worker, beats players for fun and can score goals. Just what we have been missing now we have threats down both wings. Our team is lookng good for the future with alot of the players still young.
Yes I think he played against city

Who asked you tini ;) , get a grip haha :P … Don’t know about scores goals for fun, he has scored 11 in 85. Good player though, lets hope he makes the grade :) :)

were you getting 11 in 85 from laticsmainmon? sorry jamesc ;)
He said in his interview his best position is behind the striker but he can play up top and on the wing. He will offer pace, finishing and versitility to our forward line which is a huge bonus and exactly what we needed.
I also believe the other new lad (Moreno Martins) is no mug and will be in contention to start so, to get the 2 new lads in the team I think we would have to line up with a forward line as follows:
That would leave Scotland, Scharner, McCarthy, Gomez and Sinclair fighting for a 1st team place and offers cover in central midfield with Thomas, Diame and Watson.
Look at what I said James where did I say scores goals for fun, I said he beat players for fun…tool!
First of all, N’zogbia’s left peg has bi ears. Secondly, You got beef tini? I aint no tool G. By the way 11 in 85 I was actually told, but the figure is around that number.
