The only result I didn’t like was Noblot, but against Wet Spam its not too bad because it keeps them down there.
Burnley looked to lose pretty easily and if truth be know, another London club should have had nine. Some of the chances Arsenal missed were amazing.
Wolves lost to Man Utd, losing only 1-0. No Rooney for Utd and to be honest, looked a poor show, but Wolves showed plenty fight and cetainly looked like they wanted a result.
Indeed, a Wolves chance that was missed was equally as bad as what Arsenals strikers had done.
I can’t see how Burnley will pull clear. This is going to go right down to the wire again isnt it? Imagine 4000 of us on the way to Chelsea needing a win.
And we thought needing a win at Sheff Utd was scarey. ;)
Most folk had Wolves and Burnley down to lose so no real surprises there.
Bolton result was a bad one.
A draw would have been great or a West Ham win as that would have kept Wanderers on just 26 points rather than the heady 29 they currently sit on.
As I said yesterday morning and many times before that, Portsmouth and Burnley are down. Hull City or Wolves will take the other place.
Wasn’t overly concerned about Bolton’s result, other than always wanting them to lose. I dont think either them or West Ham will go down anyway, still think it will be Pompey, Wolves and Burnley. There’s also the chance that either us or Hull could slip into the bottom 3….in fact Hull going down would be fine (hate Phil Brown).
Watching Sky as I post this, Everton v Hull. When we played Everton I was left sick of missed chances at half time, thought we battered them but just couldn’t score.
Hull are being ripped apart, they won’t be blaming missed chances.
Zaki looks crap (watch him score now) doesn’t look interested and his name is rarely mentioned.
18: Hull
19: Burnley
20: Pompey

I’m guessing you either didn’t go to school or went to Pemberton High.

Watched the Everton v Hull game today….Hull look seriously in trouble, Everton played them off the park, probably should have had at least 7, Yakubu should have had 3 in the first half alone and then they had a good goal disallowed.

Even more convinced they’ll go down now. You’re dead right about Everton. They could have had at least two more and whilst they were really impressive, Hull were truly woeful.
