I am getting sick of this programme. Last season a little part of me was hoping we’d go down just so I wouldn’t have to watch thus dross for at least a season.
How does our 2-2 draw get last billing when Swansea v Sunderland’s 2-2 is up first, and we also end up last after Spurs’ drab 1-1??
Never mind the fact that even in our eight season we still only get a split second in the opening “credits”.
Redknapp will not be long on the sofa, as soon as he gets a whiff of a top job soon to be vacant, he will be there sniffing ;)

Except we won’t be getting any more of those on MOTD – Lee’s defected to ITV.

Since being a kid I’ve watched MOTD and I wished, hoped, dreamed that one day my team Wigan Athletic would actually be shown on the show. I’d like us to be on earlier in the programme and get more air time but I’m so proud that my little club is on at all.

I always hit the record button when it starts. I’m guaranteed to do the same.
Mind you a few months ago I started watching and dozed off, woke up half way through, and thought “brilliant!”. Later discovered that for once we had been on early.
Even more damaging than our MOTD coverage this week was the Stuart Hall / Five Live post match coverage.
Amongst the usual gibberish Hall did actually say that we played beautiful stuff whilst Stoke were all kick and rush. However it all went downhill when Uncle Dave turned up to be interviewed. Hall’s first question was – great game Dave but why only 16,000 on? Whelan replied – well Wigan is a rugby town and we have to accept that!!
The pair of them , and I kid you not ,finished the interview humming the tune to the Hovis ad together. :(
‘Ello Latic people! Have to agree that having old saggy chops on the programme is a bad move but think yourselves lucky you have neither had him as manager or are linked as his next destination! I’m not sure MOTD is that good anymore though. It seems that a lot of tired old cliches get wheeled out and nothing interesting added. I much preferred the football league show.

For those of you who didn’t watch MOTD2, they showed the prem league table, then followed it up with an alternative league table. It was teams who had made the most tackles in a game.
Our very own Latics just happened to be top of that table!!Well done BBC! goodpost
