Poor ref today, seemed reluctant to book any of the Blackburn back 4 when judging by the number of free kicks we got around their box there must have been a case of persistent fouling by at least 1 of them (Samba/Jones) which would have put them under pressure when making tackles

For 1take the kick and the other 3 go into the box make’s sense to me,no wonder we cant score. :? :lol: :lol: :lol:That’s not just a problem with free kicks though, we dont get enough players in the box to cause problems either from crosses or shots that may come back off keeper/woodwork.

So did they,but we did it twice legitimately and they did it once legitimately.Whose fault is that if its not the officials?
Didn’t mention anything to do with disallowed goals, just made a point that I thought he let them get away with constant fouling around their box without issuing a yellow card or 2 which makes defenders think a little more. As for the goals, Roberts was offside, but our goal, because I was at ground level in front of the Darwen End, not sure how it came about, nevermind whether it should have been disallowed or not
In real time, with my poor eyes, there looked to be a foul by Zog and the brief glance at their second goal led me to believe it wasn’t offside. I might be wrong.
Ref was poor. Scandalous the amount of fouls on Gomez particularly, but he wasn’t the reason we lost.

It’s up to the players to score, if they can ‘have plenty of the ball’ they should be able to score too.
Players must take responsibility as well as the manager.
my thoughts are yesterday we bossed the game,sky stats show that,but thats no good when you get in good areas but theres no one in the box to cross it to.goal should have stood but we could have pushed on after that,rovers were there for the taking.also stam,would run forwards 50 yards with the ball,then pass it 40 yards back! can anyone tell me what rodders brings to the team,no goal threat up front,shots that end up in row z,no hold up play.just a thowt,thats all.maybe al habsi slightly at fault for the first,even though it was a slight fluke.
