Great servant to the club etc etc, & definitely the most unsung hero ive seen in ages. Im aware other posters have expressed concerns over his pace & his ageing, & he did looked puffed following his goal. I think he is still a top defender & could do a good job in the back 3 as opposed to wingback. Play stam in that position for now until it can be resolved in january. I would drop ramis for boyce.

after watching the game against swansea we seem to be playing everything down the left hand side cos we have no outlet down the right, im sure we are the only team who takes a player on loan and you hardly see him until February, miyachi is like a whippet and im sure he could create more problems counter attacking than boyce. Also why does he bring watson and gomez on , its beyond me what watson gives to the team, he tracks back with NO intention of putting a tackle in….. surely there must be better players in the reserves than them 2…….
Martinez needs to let the team loose or we will stagnate at the bottom and become relegation fodder again. We seem to be able to do it when we put the effort in the game, ususally when we are behind, but possession football is all fair and good unless you make something out of it, and we seem to be happy with draws.
Come on Bob if we dont win on Saturday, I can see us being beat by Spurs, West Brom, Liverpool, City, Newcastle and have to beat reading…..
What happened to the team that finished last season with a flourish ? Our defence is a big worry and with the ambassador of hoof-ball and his merry men visiting on Saturday I fear it could be a busy day at the office for the back line !
Boyce should be made captain in my view.
