31 December 2011 at 1:28 pm #76627I dont think many West Ham, Cardiff, Leeds, Leicester, Sheffield, Forest & Derby fans will be reading this thread, but I have to agree with you. Wigan are in the premier league because they accrued enough points to be promoted and since then they have accrued enough points to retain their place.
A simple formula really – make sure there are 3 teams below you come the end of game 38 and repeat the following season. Sadly the clubs you refer to weren’t very good at it.
31 December 2011 at 1:45 pm #76630Or play a sport where you can’t get relegated, that’s even easier

31 December 2011 at 10:38 pm #76659Alternatively, have to re-apply for your place every three years and face the prospect of relegation based on your business plan, which of course is linked to your income.
If that were the case, the Latics would have been jettisoned from the PL after 2 seasons once the PL realised that they were never going to fit in with their poor attendances which i will admit still beat the rugbys!

Yes, but football being a proper sport it doesn’t work like that, does it?

1 January 2012 at 5:52 am #76672Mcshitdog, why would fans of little clubs like Wesy ham ,Forrest and so on not be on this board when fans from massive clubs like Slumberland (3 points more than us, til Tuesday) and the world famous Wigin rugbi are constanly trolling in jelousey.
Consentrate on trying to get a mouth full of Martin O’Niels sword after the motd, sky sports, daily star and so on and so on’s from the media have swallowed his sacred spunk. Or if that fails just wait til our lodgers give masses of free tickets to thier game against this years super league gimmick team or ome of 12 games vs Saints. If that fails then just play with your egg on the m61 January 2012 at 5:22 pm #76683Anonymous
