Get onto Noblots’ Neil Thompson forum .. whoever this/that fucker is/was ..’Terrace Talk .. ‘Them Wigan Cxnts . ..I do not jest .. that’s the title they give us ..not enough words to find/type etc to describe their ramblings.. pour yourself a nice drink .. then get onto it …. desperate at our survival .. delusional in their future success to be ..
17 June 2023 at 8:37 am #200093His thread starts by calling us cnuts but then says I don’t really care about Wigan.
Abit like when someone mentions the word “Clouseau” to Chief Inspector Dreyfus and his eye starts twitching17 June 2023 at 7:30 pm #200100The rivalry was there before 2013 and went as far as ‘pie eaters ‘ and usual shithousing however ramped up massively after the FA cup victory in 2013.
They just cannot handle the fact we have been more successful than they have , it rankles.
So bitter and very jealous.18 June 2023 at 8:50 am #200103They just cannot handle the fact we have been more successful than they have
Care to elaborate – I’ve Just checked their honours board and Bolton have won the FA Cup four times.
18 June 2023 at 10:16 am #200104I haven’t got the time or the breath about them. They are the last club I discuss or watch they mean nothing to me.
Their fans have a bee in their inbred bonnets so leave them be, shame

1958 their last win ,fresh in the memory of their fans ,I doubt if many of them were alive then. We have had far more recent success !
19 June 2023 at 8:08 am #200116To be fair they are a bigger club and we all know that , founder members and all that and yes they have a bigger fan base.
They have tried to stoke rivalry up with every club in the north west and failed miserably so given our recent success have turned to us.
The sad thing for them is that our supporters don’t get as angry about it as they do , it’s all done light heartedly from our side and they hate that , they really do.
Add the cup success in an era where it is almost impossible now for a low ranking club to win a major trophy and it just ramps up the vitriol.
Yes more FA cups but absolutely no recent success bar a Mickey Mouse trophy against a lower division club rather than than the premier league champions.
Same as Sunderland and Newcastle really Mutty , no success for nearly 50 years and at clubs with huge support albeit in an area devoid of clubs ( hardly the hotbed it’s marketed as ), laughable really !19 June 2023 at 12:50 pm #200120F### me…..Sunderland????…..Christ another supermassive under performing yo yo won f### all of note for 50 years club. Their deluded supporters still think they’ve achieved more than us in recent years….Really????…..Administration followed by nearly foreclosure……and I can assure the helmets that we will continue to punch way above our weight while they’re David Price taking on Frodo and still getting sparked out…..
19 June 2023 at 1:20 pm #200121Hate to break it to you but football wasn’t invented in 1992 or 2013. It has been played all over the world for over 100 years and a lot of clubs have won a lot of trophies over that time. So if you are referring to honours, perhaps you should stipulate as to what period you are including so the likes of Wolves, WBA, Palace, Brighton, Birmingham, Coventry, Spurs, Everton, Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Wednesday, Forest, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Leeds are all made aware that Wigan are bigger than them cos they won one FA Cup in the last 10 years. Interesting to also see that Wigan are also the most relegated club*.
*It would have been Sunderland, but as I only included the last 10 years, only 2 of the 11 count!
19 June 2023 at 2:28 pm #200123Last 30 years your success for such a (huge) club 44k a week on in prem days……well dropping 16k a week when relegated. It is very simple Wigan have achieved far more than Sunderland since entering league football. Continually over achieving whilst you have not even touched mediocrity. According to a lot of your supporters success should be linked to attendances!!!…teams like Luton,Brighton,Bournemouth shouldn’t be allowed to dine at the big boys table….seats should be reserved for your like. Its great that teams like Luton have achieved so much ,well managed ,structured on small attendances. If the prem heiracy had their way prem positions would be guaranteed for the Leeds,Sunderland,Leicester etc……rewarding mediocrity would guarantee you lot an eternal membership. Thank F%%% it doesn’t!!!
19 June 2023 at 4:17 pm #200124Mr Brownbill I think that post of yours just about blows the legs off our Sunderland fan intruder.
Left him no room for a reply although I bet the legless get comes back with one. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!19 June 2023 at 4:40 pm #200125Last 30 years your success for such a (huge) club 44k a week on in prem days……well dropping 16k a week when relegated. Still not quite sure over what period you are judging “bigness”. Is it 30 years, or since 1978? If its the latter, does that mean AFC Wimbledon are equally as big as Wigan, with one FA Cup win, and both bigger than Newcastle?
For the record, I have no issue with any club winning anything on merit. I do have an issue with clubs buying success, be it owners writing off massive shortfalls, 156% wage bills on turnovers or brown envelope bungs, none of which end well.
JR – Glad to see you are still alive – enjoy next season. Perhaps you can find a Bolton or Lincoln fan to wager who finishes the higher in L1.
19 June 2023 at 5:07 pm #200126Weren’t Sunderland once known as “The Bank of England Team”?
Are you going to recind the trophies won in your glory days?
19 June 2023 at 7:37 pm #200128Sorry mutt im sure Notts county hold the record for being relegated
